Product Description

Since its founding by its namesake in 1976, Raymond Weil draws inspiration from major musical works to create elegant and cutting-edge timepieces. Named after the Wagner opera, the signature Parsifal collection balances symmetry and harmony with a powerful, valiant outlook befitting of the opera's hero. The Don Giovanni collection, named after Mozart's comedic opera, blends daring design with advanced technical prowess, and the Don Giovanni Cosi Grande mechanical chronograph is hand assembled by Raymond Weil's finest watchmakers. Over the years, Raymond Weil has introduced a number of other series that helped the company become an enigmatic leader of the Swiss watch industry, including the Othello, with its discreet design that emphasizes strength of character and uncompromising beauty, and the sophisticated, color-stained-crystal Traviata.

Based in Geneva, Switzerland, Raymond Weil watches are manufactured entirely in the Swiss watchmaking universe. The company's signature motto--"Independence is a state of mind"--is a reminder of its desire to conceive timepieces that are different, elegant and modern, while at the same time displaying all the rigor of watchmaking excellence.

    Verified Purchase
August 2nd, 2013, my watch stopped working completely and won't rewind. I called the Amazon 2-Year Limited Warranty and the customer service was excellent. I received my watch on September 16th, 2013. It works but the power reserve is less than 12 hours. Before I can leave it on the table for 2 days without rewind and it is still working. Now, I have to rewind it after 12 hours of sleep. According to Raymond Weil website, the watch has 46 hours of reserve power. I'm going to submit the case for repair again.

February 28th, 2014, I received a check for a full amount of purchase after I submitted for repair the 3rd time. I guess my watch is not repairable that's why I received the check. 5 STARS rating to Amazon 2-year warranty and its customer service.

I bought a Swiss Army Infantry but returned it because it was too dark for my skin. I wanted a Swiss Made watch and never heard of Raymond Weil before. After extended research I decided to get me this watch and Raymond watches didn't disappointed me.

I winded the watch for couple of times and leaved it in the box for 2 days with chronograph function running and it was running fine with its reserve energy.
I had the chronograph running and put in water for 12 hours and it passed the water resistant test. My previous Swiss Army watch warning that do not run your chronograph while in water.
The watch is comfortable to wear and not too heavy.

My watch is completed dead on February, 2014.
