I ordered this item an confirmed: it is two packs of 12 batteries each, for a total of 24 batteries. I though the price was good, and the batteries are not bad alkalines ones.

I have found Rayovac Alkaline Cells Last about 10% longer and have a slighty higher Starting Voltage than Most Akaline Cells.

I'm never without these. Long-lasting, reliable, good value. I have 10 flameless candles with timers that I use every night in lieu of nightlights throughout the house. I also use these when the power goes out from a severe winter or even summer storm. (We lose power all the time). The batteries last close to 500+ hours in each candle with nightly use of 6+ hours each. Only toward the end of that period does the flicker of the 'candle' seem a bit dimmer than the others. I make sure I keep a supply of these on hand. I've never been disappointed.
