5.0 out of 5 stars WONDERFUL BATTERIES FOR BATTERY OPERATED CANDLES
I have purchased many three packs of these for my battery operated candles which are placed throughout my home. With these batteries, I am not constantly having to purchase 12 packs of "C" batteries to replace them. Even the candles which are on timers perform well with these rechargeable batteries. I haven't used them for anything except my candles so I can't comment...

1.0 out of 5 stars An AA battery in a C shell
If you're wondering why these batteries die so quickly, I'll tell you a secret: they're just a AA batteries in C battery shells!

The 1800-mAH capacity of these batteries compares poorly with many AA batteries, which store up to 2500 mAH.

C batteries should be able to store at least 5000 mAH. Check the fine print before you buy.

1.0 out of 5 stars Warning: only 1800 mAh, July 21, 2008
The typical rechargeable C cell has 5000 to 6000 mAh of capacity. A tiny AA battery usually has 2500 mAh +/-. This battery has 1800 mAh.

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't hold charge long, December 26, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These batteries are fine if you're not putting them in something that needs to be charged for a period of time. However, they don't hold their charge for very long, just a few days, and they have to be charged or changed often. They're okay, but there is better.

I haven't used them for anything except my candles so I can't comment on performance for other uses but for candles they are great and allow me to have my candles going all the time with a weekly recharge of the batteries. Very pleased with these batteries for my purposes and would recommend to others for battery operated candles which are used a lot of the time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works for us, January 13, 2008

I bought these to use in a baby swing. After we first charged them, we set the empty swing on ON to see how long they would last. The batteries lasted 9 hours. Seems reasonable to me, but I haven't used any expensive rechargeables and don't know if there might be a longer lasting product out there. Overall, they've worked well over the past 3 months.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rayovac batteries, September 13, 2008

These batteries really do have more power than regular throw-away batteries. My bike light throws a great beam using these.

Still a good value.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good product, January 9, 2007
These batteries work well. They don't hold a charge as long as regular batteries, but they more than pay for themselves over time.
