The images and words in this beautifully constructed book are tools in building hope through difficult loss. Covered are the loss of someone who has died, the loss of health, relationship endings, career changes or job loss and family stage changes. I have it opened on my desk to different pages that fit different days, where I might want to encourage someone or be encouraged. The photographs are truly poetry in and of itself, blending beautifully with the words.

I've always struggled with what to say to someone when they lose a loved one. And sending a card always seemed so inadequate for such a tough situation.

Then I saw "Rays of Hope." From the moment I laid eyes on this, I knew it was special. It literally invited me to pick it up and once I did, I couldn't put it down. The beautiful photographs warmed my heart and the poetry warmed my spirit.

I knew immediately that I wanted to give it to my friends and their families when a loved one passed on. I bought five copies right away. I'll be back for more.
