5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Product
A great product from every angle. Good packaging just like all the other razer products. But also great where it matters most. 3.0 out of 5 stars very nice but a little overpriced
It is a great pad, but I believe the carrying zippered box in not usefull and contributues to make it very expensive. They might want to sell it without it as well...

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Product, May 18, 2008
This review is from: Razer Destructor Professional Gaming Mat (Personal Computers)
A great product from every angle. Good packaging just like all the other razer products. But also great where it matters most. I did not wanted to buy a hard mouse pad because i dident know how well i would play with it (i play a lot of counterstrike) but now that i have one i am not unhappy at all. The pad compared to my old Steelseries QCK+ is like glass, but it still manages to be gritty enough to keep good aim and control. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a hard mouse pad, and even someone who is looking for a cloth should try it out, they wont be disappointed.
Pros
+very smooth
+still gritty enough for aim and accuracy
+very nice looking on a desk
+good size to fit all sizes of desks
+comes with a case for travel (pro or con depends if you travel personally i dont so the case is a waste of money for me)
+appears to be very durable
+dosent get dirty
Cons
-not as big as i would like it to be (although i havent run out of mouse space yet i have to be contious about the space that i have, something that i dident have to do with my QCK+)
-expensive!! (although i found it to be worth it)
-wet hands might stick (when i get out of the shower my hands stick to the pad for about 30 min, this might apply for sweat if your are a sweater for some reason)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great professional grade gaming mousepad., June 24, 2008
This review is from: Razer Destructor Professional Gaming Mat (Personal Computers)
I've been using this product for about two months now and have absolutely loved it! I have used it in conjunction with my Razer DeathAdder mouse and it glides along the surface perfectly. I never have to worry about if the mouse is going to do what I want it to because the response is perfect and spot on. Razer makes great gaming mice and their surfaces are no different.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great For a Gamer, June 23, 2008

This a great mousing surface if your a gamer and want total control.
But it is about $20.00 over priced seeings how is only plastic I have the one that Razer made before this one and it is on a sheet of aluminum with 2 sides to choose from. this is not one side and a non-slip pad on the back. Also this one side is better than both sides of the Exact Mat. So I wish they would sell it with out the case for $15 or $19. but no more.

BUT THE MOUSE PAD IS THE BEST I'VE ERVER USED. I LOVE IT. YOU CAN'T GO WRONG HERE. AND AMAZON ROCKS.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent pad, Over-Packaged, June 27, 2008
This review is from: Razer Destructor Professional Gaming Mat (Personal Computers)
I'm not sure which to say first. This is an excellent mouse pad for laser or optical driven mice. Large surface area allows for freedom. This thing is way over packaged though and I would have preferred a lower price without the fluff. That said, it is worth the money.

I use a Logitech G7 (2nd Generation), and this is the best Mousepad that I have ever used!

Motion is Precise and Extra Smooth. No hesitation in-between!

Built Sturdy to last a very very long time. Didn't know a Mousepad could make such a difference.

Highly Recommended.

I play a lot of call duty 4 and Call Duty World at War. I snipe almost exclusively on both games.

The mouse moves very smoothly over the pad. Feels almost as smooth as an air hockey table. I feel that pad really improves my "twitch shots" (quickly moving your scope over a moving target and firing based completely upon reflex). Good twitch shots are what separate okay snipers from the pros (look up Prank` or Lucker on youtube...they're unreal).

I haven't used any other gaming pad. But from what I've read this along with some of the Steelseries pads are the best. If you're into competative FPS games online, I definitely recommend trying a good gaming pad. I don't have any complaints with this one.

I use the logitech G5 mouse along with this pad.
Happy fragging!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not metal, August 8, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Razer Destructor Professional Gaming Mat (Personal Computers)
The product name from some sellers through amazon says something about gun metal. It is, however, not made of metal at all as far as I can tell. It is a slightly flexible but hard surfaced sheet of plastic with a rubber underside. It is very thin, and about the size of my 17 inch laptop screen (widescreen). It is an excellent mousing surface, but I think still too expensive. Also Razer's own website says it gets 37% or something better tracking than other gaming mousepads. From what I can tell, Razer's "other gaming mousepads" must have been made out of carpet, because most people would simply not be able to notice any difference in tracking precision.

Anyway, it is a good mousepad if you want to buy a nice one and don't mind spending a lot, but it really is hard to justify the price tag.
