After 6 months of use, the mouse does not glide anymore. I tried cleaning it first with a microfiber cloth, then with some water and finally with a mild soap. It is just no good anymore.
Mouse does not glide because the surface is sticky... pretty much like the back of the pad. The coating that the pad had is now visible only on the edges but not in the middle where I need it. For gamers a durable gaming surface is a must so I recommend you get the Ironclad instead which is Razer's aluminum gaming pad. For non-gamers this mousepad would be a viable option. 5 star craftsmanship as can be expected from Razer. 5 star looks particularly on the glow area. 5 star comfortability and mouse glide. 1 star durability if used intensely.

If you like fancy designs and glow in the dark logos, this product is for you.
If you are a serious gamer and want performance not beauty do not purchase this product. Razor did a horrible job with this mousepad. It is not smooth and the worst part is: Their glow in the dark logo will mess up your mouse movements! It is in the middle of the pad, and has a different tecture than the rest of the pad. This product is a joke at best, and a bad joke at worst.

Stick with the exactmat Razer pad you will be better off for the money.
This pads tracking was horrible on multiple mice tested. Actually felt like it deadzoned some of my mice after a few hrs of playing with the pad I said enough is enough.

Let me preface with:
I am a heavy gamer and that is the reason I purchase razer products. I can only attest to their mice, but I have owned 2deathadders, a naga, and a mamba. The megasoma mousepad was probably a 4/5 mousepad until the top coat surface started etching away creating sticky spots. Now the mousepad is a 1/5 if even that. It's better to play on my bare desk than to use the megasoma :/ because my mouse catches in those spots.

Now, I can't speak for tracking of this mouse with any mouse, but instead when used in conjunction with a Razer Lachesis laser mouse.
This mousepad has amazing tracking, so long as you only want to ever to horizontal movements. Throw in the desire to move from the bottom of your screen to the top, and you find that your cursor just wants to stay exactly where it is. Move the mouse really quickly, and you get a jerking motion up. Horizontal tracking is smooth as butter, vertical tracking.... well, let's just say a piece of cardboard makes a better mousepad than this. Go tear off half a cereal box and save yourself 50 dollars. What a joke. Update: tested this pad out with a cheapo Logitech optical mouse, and it works well enough. But then, you have to ask yourself, if you're using a 5 dollar mouse that tracks on just about any surface, why buy a mousepad at all, let alone this one. Product assessment stands. Product does not work as advertised with manufacturer's own mice.

This mouse pad has worse tracking on it than my wooden desktop surface. Mouse jitter on this was noticeable, i have never noticed mouse jitter before on any surface. I will return it and call razor about false advertising.

The mat is pretty smooth only on the left half....the attempt to make it glow in the dark by spraying radium paint on the right side makes the mat rough in the right....plus i also wished they made the size a bit larger...

Not quite worth the asking price,

I bought this pad with a razer death adder. So far I've tried about 4 different "professional" gaming micepads, this one included.
I was using a func f-series mouse pad and it's great. They're online store has recently been down for months, and have been concerned they've kicked the bucket. So I've been trying out other pads just in case they do and I have to replace it soon. I guess these types of things are in the eye of the beholder and you really need to test it out for yourself. What I can say is the pad itself is a little too, what's the word - not built for speed? Coming from my f-series this feels hard to move the mouse across, like it sort of drags more than it needs too. I realize this is probably for a more precise movement, but I find it hampering in twitch based games like unreal tournament and even day to day usage. The pad itself is also very small. Like I said before I guess it depends on where you're coming from, but for me going from the f-series 11x17 to this feels limiting as well. It is made of a pretty sturdy material. I don't see it wearing down anytime soon. I made sure to pair it up with a razer mouse so there'd be no questions about it working as intended. Personally, the pad is nice, but not worth the freaking 50 dollar asking price. It's cheaper here on amazon but Razer sells it for 50 on their site. It's defintely not worth that and barely worth the 40 bucks I paid for it. I like my f-series allowance for nice smooth, accelerated movements and the rougher surface. I find the megasoma a little too "slow". Again stuff like this is really in the eye of the beholder, but if you're coming from an f-series or a more textured mousing surface, i'd skip this.

This pad doesn't work for me at all. I bought it to use with my FRAGnStein mouse, which is a 2000 CPI laser mouse, and the thing won't work on this pad at all! My coffee table works better! I thought maybe it was just the mouse so I tried three other mice and none of them will work on this pad. I don't know if it's because the pad is white or if it's because the pad it slightly translucent, but this just flat out doesn't work. Maybe that's why most other decent mouse pads are black and not "see through". Plus this pad isn't that nice, it's just a piece of silicone with one roughed up side. The glow in the dark "feature" is weak and completely un-noticeable. Plus the glowing feature is just some crap they sprayed on the pad which gives it a slightly raised and uneven surface. This thing is way over priced; I wouldn't even take this thing if it were free. Maybe it only works with razer mice. JUNK!!!

Terrible Mouse Pad, Razer Dropped the Ball on this one,

If your a gamer, stay far far away from this pad. Not only is the tracking horrible, but if you don't put in on a perfectly even surface, then there's no tracking at all. As others has said, the glow in the dark crap does nothing but hinder performance of the mouse.
