Good mouse for gaming, it's very useful if you are playing MMO games.
Stephano
The 12 buttons don't get in the way (for me, at least) and the right side has a place for the ring finger and the pinky has a nice little grippy area to rest/ grip.
Ruttabl
This mouse is very comfortable and works amazingly. the response time is amazing and all the programmable buttons are great!

March 07 2014 update /// The original review of the 2009 model will be included below this new review, unedited.

After some four and a half years of faithful service, I decided it was time to retire my original Razer Naga. Enter: Razer Naga 2014!

As I noted in my initial review of this device, it definitely takes some getting used to. The transition from the 2009 version to the 2014 version was, oddly, no different. While it conforms to the same overall size and shape, I did not feel truly comfortable with this new mouse for at least the first six hours of use. It feels a little heavier than the original, and sports an entirely different tactile feel; "hammered" finish, greatly protruding buttons, and rubberized panels. Here, two weeks later, it once again feels like an extension of my own body, and I wouldn't change a thing.

My feelings today largely mirror those of the original review; the Naga has long since proven itself to be an immensely powerful and useful tool in both gaming and beyond. I greatly appreciate Razer's choice to move the two additional top buttons back behind the mouse wheel, as well as their inclusion of a tilting wheel (one of my most missed features from the old Logitech G7.) The now more pronounced side buttons have alleviated all of the concerns I had with the original, from difficulty finding keys, to "grunge" collection, and so on. The evolution of Razer's software has been a huge book to their entire product line, as well.

My only gripe thus far... the side buttons are a little more sensitive than I am used to as of yet. As such, I have a tendancy to hit buttons while moving the mouse, as well as hitting '4' in addition to '1' when I only need to hit '1'.

Good Features: Excellent, programmable 12 key number pad, responsive buttons and click wheel, long cord

Poor Features: Two side buttons are difficult to access, relatively light weight

Overall Score: 9.0/10

EDIT: Sorry that it is recorded in a "mirror." I'll make sure to fix that on any future video reviews.

I purchased this Razer Naga Mouse new back on March 10, 2010 for $80.00 from Amazon.com.

I was very happy when I received this new mouse as I play online games, as well as general home office functions; I work from home a lot.

Anyway, this mouse was a dream comes true; this mouse was the best mouse I ever owned. That is until about December 2010/January 2011. The left mouse button seemed to be not working properly (double and triple clicking). I was not sure at first, but by the end of January 2011 (10 months old), I definitely determined it was the Razer Naga. Only by this time, the right mouse button also began malfunctioning with the double and triple clicking.

I called Razer Naga for assistance; they had me update the firmware. Updating the firmware did nothing; long story short, an RMA was issued because it was still under warranty (2 years from date of original purchase).
I initiated this complaint on January 28, 2011. By the time I sent in my defective mouse (and they received it), and they sent out a refurbished mouse on February 10, 2011, almost 2.5 weeks had passed.

Well, here I am today October 28, 2011, and my refurbished Razer Naga mouse is once again defective; left AND right mouse buttons are double and triple clicking AGAIN! This has been ongoing for almost 2 weeks now, and has gotten to the point of not being useable.

What is most alarming is that after researching this problem online, this is a VERY COMMON DEFECT with this product! There are actually youtube videos on how to "fix your Razer Naga left mouse button" because this is such a common defect.

I do NOT recommend this product at all. DO NOT BUY this Razer Naga mouse because it is not if, but when you will need a replacement.

I haven't even had this product 6 months and already the hardware is completly messed up. It double clicks, no matter what I do, so it makes playing games pretty much impossible. At first I thought maybe I had corrupted drivers so I searched for updates during which razer made me download Synapse 2.0. It downloaded the drivers but nothing changed, as a matter of fact it started to get worse, as now it will triple click items. Further more it has come to my attention and the attention of many others on the net that Synapse 2.0 is spyware. To actually use the settings on your mouse you must open and enable synapse 2.0, and keep it running while it spies on you and sends your information to razer.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! It is poorly made hardware coupled with horrible spyware, logictech sells a mouse with the same number of buttons and is probably a better option. I am angry that I ever bought this. BUYER BEWARE! Don't let my misfortune be yours. This is the logictech equivalent; Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse. DON'T BUY RAZER.

By using Razer Synapse 2.
