Cruise around the neighborhood in style with the Razor E200 electric scooter. An ultra-quiet chain-driven motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle accelerator, the E200 is the perfect device for teens and adults wanting to speed over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--which offers a seated ride--the E200 requires you to stand while zipping through town.

Razor E200 Electric Scooter

But standing in the E200 isn't a problem thanks to the full-size deck and frame, which are custom designed for ages 13 and up. Once you're on the move, the variable-speed motor ramps up to 12 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk.

The long-life rechargeable battery, meanwhile, lasts for up to 45 minutes of continuous use per charge (with an eight-hour charge time), so you can easily cruise to the grocery store and back without running out of juice. Other details include 8-inch pneumatic tires for a smooth ride, a hand-operated rear brake, and such accessories as a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools. The E200, which offers a maximum weight limit of 154 pounds, is backed by a 90-day warranty.

The buyer and rider of the E200 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters.

The scooter is good, works fine, good battery life and stable but with someone even close to the rated load it has inadequate clearance between the ground and the motor. I got this one for my wife the 100 for my child (she loves it) and the 300 for me. Just driving around the neighborhood and hitting little dips in the road on the 200 will cause the motor to hit the street very hard. The 100 has a solid wheel so even though the clearance is low it does not suffer the same fate. If you are going to get a bigger scooter than the 100 then go for the 300, the clearance issue is much improved for that model.

I bought this for my 9 year-old daughter and she loves it. I was considering the E100 because of the age recommendations but decided to go with the E200 because of the weight capacity. I'm glad I did. My daughter can handle it just fine and I don't have to worry about an older child getting on it and breaking it.

I bought one of these at Toys'R'Us and have had so much fun. It hasn't had one problem and it's a lot faster and easier than walking. I know you may think that a kid's review doesn't matter but this product is targeted for our age group and I believe it's most important to know what we think of it. If you're planning on purchasing a Razor E200 and are having doubts, you shouldn't be. It really is amazing!

We bought this scooter for our daughters (7&8yrs) from EToys through [...]. Very pleased with delivery and package came in perfect shape (no damage). First we did the over 12hr charge. Then my husband tweeked the brakes, so that my young children could squeeze the brakes while riding. We also adjusted the wire & cables to figure "S" like shape along outside of height bar, and secured it with a tie wrap just below where you adjust the height. Just like noted by another review, the tire valve stem extension is inside the right side handle grip (just remove cap). This is not stated in the manual, but it is shown on the diagram that points out all the parts.
Our girls love this scooter and we do too, since it holds upto approx 200lbs. We just ride it back and forth down our sidewalk for about 5 houses down the street, and in and out of driveways. We have been careful not to turn it on it's side since we read comments that this can break of parts. Other neighborhood kids (ages 6-11) have tried it also and they say it is so cool, and of course want one too. There have been no problems and we have had it for about three weeks. The battery charge does last longer than the 40mins, usually about 50mins. You do notice at about after 30min of riding the scooter does not go as fast as it did in the beginning (only like 2MPH slower). WE have really enjoyed this scooter and we remain safe and stay in control, no going super fast around corners and always wearing a helmet and keeping a watchful eye on the kids while they ride. Have fun and enjoy this cool scooter.

Great deal on Amazon for a awesome scooter. Got it for my 6 year old, its perfect for him. Easy to assemble, trouble free after 1 month. I read other reviews and the reported problems, and went ahead and bought this scooter anyways. Here is my take on the reported problems:

1) Low ground clearance: could be a problem, but I showed my son what happens if he tried to drive it up or down a curb, and with any reasonable amount of care, or an absence of stunt riding, it will be fine.

2) Battery life: We have gone on 1 hour rides, up and down hills, and it is still running strong. My son weighs 55lbs, so maybe with heavier riders your battery life would be less, but no complaints so far. Also, we find the recharge time is significantly less than reported, the charger light goes from red to green in just a few hours. We do charge it right after returning from each ride, as suggested in the manual.

3) Speed: it really goes like a casual bike riding speed 10-12 mph, and a child under 13 certainly could get injured if he crashed into something stationary, but basically I equate it with a similar risk to a bicycle. On the plus side, my boy can now keep up with mom and dad on their bikes, without whinning after 15 minutes that he is tired and wants to go home. Also, some neighbors have the lower model, and its pretty slow and cannot take the weight of an adult.

4) Assembly/tire inflation: This is like a 3 minute assembly. Yes the valve stem adapter (inside the handle bar grip as per instructions) is difficult to use, but if you flex the valve stem so it is straight before trying to screw on the adapter its not too difficult. I wouldn't let this influence my decision to buy.

Overall very pleased with the E200, and with Amazon its a great price. Neighbors ask about it alot and they are surprised at the reasonable price!

Nifty little scooter that zips you around to anywhere within a 2 mile radius and back again. Battery life last from 35 to 40 minutes with the speed dying down in the last 8 minutes or so. Ultra easy controls, brake on the left handle bar with throttle on the right. Very easy to ride, if you can stand up straight you've pretty much got it.

The only things that I didn't like about it is that the batteries cannot be changed without dissasembling the whole thing. It would have been nice to have the option of carrying extra batteries and swapping them to extend the range.

The instructions do not tell you where the tire inflation extender tube is. In fact it says that the extender tube is in the same bag as the instructions which is not true. I found it attached to a clever holder inside the rubber grip of the right handle bar.

Third point is that this scooter does not have anyplace where a locking system could be conveniently attached. I am currently wrapping a chain lock around the portion of the frame above the front tire and then to an anchor point. It should have been easy during the manufacturing process to create an anchoring point within or attached to the frame itself, unfortuneately this feature was not made.

I also found that when making right hand turns the plastic guard protecting the motor and chain assemlby tends to scrape the ground if you lean into the turn too much. Other than these annoying but minor problems I would recommend this scooter to anyone over the age of 12. Gets you where you want to go, is quiet, and best of all rechargeable.
