Perfect Scooter for a 2 Mile Comute to work!,
By Computerguy123 (San Jose, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Razor E325 Electric Scooter (Sports)
I got this scooter as a birthday present. I was taking the bus to work, and this saves me so much time and money! No more walking to the bus stop, waiting for the bus and then getting off the bus and walking the rest of the way to work.Like it's been said in the reviews, this scooter is great for level streets but not made to go up hill. I live in San Jose, CA and downtown all the streets are level. I can see why some people have had bad experiences with the scooter if they live in a town or city with lots of hills. The scooter zooms me along downtown. I weigh around 170 and the scooter has more than enough power to get me up to a nice cruising speed. One suggestion for users is to give yourself a push start when you get going from a full stop position. I noticed that the battery lasts a good deal longer if you help get the momentum going rather than standing on the scooter and making it work to get you going from a full stop. All in all, this is an awesome form of transportation and lots of fun ride. I've had mine for about 4 months now and ride it 2 miles to work and 2 miles home about 4 times a week. I charge it about an hour or two before Im off work so it's at it's top performance. I love it! =)

The scooter arrived as promised before Christmas and my 8-year old couldn't be happier with it. The neighborhood kids line up to take a turn riding it everytime he brings it out.I am very pleased with the E325 - its's fast, looks great and is a fun ride!

Fun and fast, maybe too fast for a kid under about 80lbs. Holds a charge well and gets my son all over the neighborhood on one charge, he's 12 and about 100lbs. I have no complaints; it does what it said it would do, reliably. Thinking about getting the smaller model for my 8 year old daughter.

I bought this scooter for my son and he loves it. It's black, sleek and sharp looking and ride smoothly. Although it only goes up to 15 mph (which is more than enough for a 10yr old) it feels fast and light. I bought it for Christmas and since it's cold where we live, he hasn't used it as much. Once the weather warms up, it will be used more, possibly even by me (his mom)Great product, super fun!

Product came as billed...15 mph is faster than you think so it might not be appropriate for young riders that don't have great ballance. My son loves it and sneak a ride every now and again. ;)

Misleading Image on Amazon,

If you're expecting, like I was, to have height adjustable handlebars, you will be disappointed. Even though the image shows a silver latch half way up the handlebars, presumably for height adjustment, there is no such latch on the E325 delivered. I confirmed with Razor that this model does not have height adjustment. They need to replace the image.

I ordered a unit for my son't birthday in Dec 2009. He loved it and rode around happily but only for a couple of months. The handle bar had gotten loose on its own and I could not fix it at all. My son was terribly disappointed and now we are stuck with a $220 almost new scooter but could not ride it. Razor quality is sub-par to say the least. I would very much appreciate if someone can offer some advise as to how we should go about getting it fixed.
