We purchased two helmets for our granddaughters to wear while using their electric scooters. They are quite pretty, with the satin finish. They fit both girls well; ages 10 and 12. They must be comfortable because they wear them every time without reminding. We are pleased with the purchase.

Well made, with a comfortable fit. My daughter tells me the comfort is many times better than a standard bicycle helmet. The chin straps are easy to clip and unclip, yet remain very secure while in use. I definately recommend this product !

Bought this for my 7 year old daughter's birthday, along with a Razor scooter. No trouble getting her to wear helmet. Much nicer & more comfortable than similar priced bicycle helmets at dept. stores.

This is NOT for 5 years and up as the description indicates. Packaging that arrived with helmet states for 8 years and up. It is WAY TOO BIG for my 6 1/2 year daughter. Don't have time to order another as skateboard camp starts on Monday. Very frustrating. However, the helmet itself appears to be great quality and looks great. amazon should update the description.

I bought this product for my stepdaughter's 8th birthday because it indicated 8 years and older. It was too small. The very next day, I was riding through the park and saw a 5 year old with this helmet on.

Otherwise - it is a really cute helmet. Just make sure to measure your child's skull and not go for "age range"

Nice quality, but always is from Razor! My grandaughter loves it and it fits her nicely she is 7 yrs. old.

This is a nice quality helmet, and my daughter loves the pink. It's not too metallic and shiny - more like a satiny finish. She likes the 'skateboarder' shape of it (unlike her round bicycle helmet she had outgrown). The straps and padding are nice, and unless it gets thrown around a lot, it seems like it's going to be pretty durable. We give it three stars instead of four because of the fit. This is a very, very round shape. She has a round head, but even on her, the helmet has gaps on the sides, and presses on her forehead slightly. On my more narrow head, it was extremely uncomfortable and wobbled from side to side. She says it's not uncomfortable on her, so even though I probably would have sent it back and tried for something with a better fit, she's happy with it and doesn't complain about wearing it.

This helmet is great for youth-girls age 8 - 10 ish. My daughter is now 9, but I purchased this when she was 8. It is a great helmet, very beautiful and true to the picture. I checked several stores and looked at many other helmets online before I decided to go with this one. I am so, so happy I did. It is a great fit, will last for a few years with her and is beauttiful on. She loves wearing it and loves the stylish color. She is happy & safe! Thanks!

This is a good helmet bought for my 14 year old to use with a scooter.

First off, you'll see from several other reviews that this is a nice produce for a very fair price.

Cons
-Amazon product description is misleading stating that it meets 5 year design, when in fact you'll find this product is for 8+.

Now more on the 8+, if you have a child with a larger than normal head then a 7 year old would be good. Remember it doesn't matter how tall or heavy your child is, it's just the size of her head. Therefore, your child could be 6 or 7 and this will fit her fine, however if they have a smaller than normal head they can fit in this until they are 9 or 10 easily.
