I read the reviews!.. its slow, the back tire is small and solid and when you brake it gets the flat lines like the original scooters...Phoey! stay on the straight surfaces, no driveways to kill the back tire... This thing is built VERY well, its quiet, fast enough for a 7-8 year old and the brake is in the front so how others got back tires to go flat is beyond me. The throttle is so good you dont need the brake 99% of the time. For 99.00 this is the most fun my 7 year old has had in a long time, he cant wait for the batteries to charge again :) This is 300% more scooter than we all got 2 years go.

I own a gas scooter from a place called scooter x, the thing falls apart and every thing. I have to replace screws and even bearings after 1 month of use. No wonder why I got it for $275. Well you get what you pay for. But anyway I tried this scooter before, and iam 12 and im 150 pounds and it pulled me around pretty good, though I dont like the plastic or rubber wheel in the back. It is pretty good. It doesnt really go 10 mph. if your 50 to 90 pounds it will go about 12 to 13mph.Anyway my sister is getting one today at pepboys. Iam even gonna get one to, except Iam getting the E-300, I think its good quality and its pretty neat. So now I think iam gonna sell my gasser now. Well hope this was helpfull. LATER

i have had one of these kind of scooters. i am 11 years oldwhen i first got it i would never let anyone ride it it was so precious to me but i learned to share (hahaha). well one day my older brother was riding it and he was tooooo heavy it broke. this does not mean it isnt durable it is but once i found out that he broke it i was reallly mad and sad. maybe you should read how much you weigh before you get on it (to my brother he a little dumb, just joking) everyday i used to come home and ride it for like ever. now its in pieces in our garrage. i really miss having an elecrtic scooter i would ride them everywear. @ the park and around my block. i even took it camping. i keep on telling my mom and begging her to get me a new one but shes thinking about it. if u are a parent and ur child wants one of these they are sooo totally awasome. when my freinds came over we would have sooo much fun i was never boored when i had that scooter. GET YOUR CHILDREN ONE THERE SO GOOD!

This thing is horrible! The first couple of times you ride it, it's great, but then the back tire gets bumpy from braking. Even if you squeeze on the hand break a little bit. The front tire is fine because it's filled with air, but the back tire is like a plastic, so when you ride it more and more the back tire wears down, which makes for load sounds, and a terrible bumpy ride. Pieces and screws fall off, and it goes really slow. Like 4 miles per hour slow. Don't trust the ads. If you're looking for an Electric Razor Scooter, then get an E-200 or E-300, both tires on those are filled with air, so it gives you a great, smooth ride. Overall: Do NOT get an E-100!

This toy was a great product. I am 13 and my little brother who just turned 10 bought it. He loves it. It take a very short time to charge and doesnt go to fast. Our nextdoor neighbor who is 8 also bought it he loves it but then his sister age 11 got the e300. This was even better except it is very fast. We have extremely large driveways but the e300 goes so fast and is so big that it does not maneuver easily and must be rode in the street. Most parents dont have time to watch kids ride in the street. So far our neighbor fell 3 times while trying tricks but it never broke and he didnt get hurt. It is a great safe toy for kids of all ages. The e100 is gret for smaller kids and i think the e200 should be great infact im buying it next week or so for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After reading all the problems people have had with Razor's chargers, I can't believe they continue to sell their crappy products. We spent over a hundred bucks on a Razor Electric Scream Machine for my son last year for Christmas. He's ridden it maybe 5 times since then, because the charger fails after a few uses. After tracking someone down at Razor (their customer service sucks as bad as their products), they sent us a new charger. Used it once, then that quit on us. Tried to get our money back, but they said they will only reimburse for taking it to a repair shop. What a pain, what a disappointment, what a waste of money. Don't expect them to stand behind their product. By the way, the Electric Scream Machine is no longer on the market. [...]

whompa wheel,
By tara (Naples, FL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Razor E100 Electric Scooter (Misc.)
We got this scooter and the E200 for our sons. Within 24hrs the hard, plastic back wheel had ground down from breaking, causing the scooter to move awkwardly with a whompa sound. My son refused to ride it. Contacted Razor and they said the wheel had been improved upon and sent me another wheel assembly. Looked like the same thing. I had to put it on - not easy to line up right. That wheel assembly lasted three months and then the ball bearings fell out. This time Razor had me send it to them postage paid though I had to pay the packaging which was about as much as the scooter cost new. Within days of the new wheel we were back to the whomping. Razor doesn't return calls or respond to emails now. Sits in the garage un-used.
