It has a lot of power and goes pretty fast.
Linda
This meant that no matter how much we charged the batteries, the connector would not distribute power to the motor so the scooter could work.

Called two (2) local service centers and they both told me they see it all the time.

Works great! Had it for 2 months and our 11 year-old son uses it at least 3 times per week. His friends love it too! It lasts for at least an hour on a charge and can easily go 5-10 miles on flat ground before it needs to be recharged. Follow the instructions and always fully charge it after every use.

Update: Now we've had this for 18 months and it gets very heavy use. It still works great and holds a charge.

Second update: We have now had it for over 2 years and the battery is pretty much dead. It still runs but very slowly.

I bought this scooter to commute to and from work. The battery life while not as long as it was reported to be, was sufficient for a mile and a half ride through city streets. The only other drawback is that there is no suspension system. I used this scooter twice daily for about six months without any problems, eventually the batteries began to take less of a charge and after finding out what a replacement set would cost I decided to upgrade to a different scooter. If Razor ever makes a 36V version with front fork and rear suspension I would buy it. I did have a motor issue but razor has a great customer service dept. and the issue was solved very quickly at no cost.

Very sturdy, visually appealing, and lots of fun I must say.

I dreaded the idea of putting this scooter together. Yet it was simple enough I had it ready in less than 5 minutes.

My daughter absolutely loves it. Like with most ride on toys I have purchsed in the past, I was concerned it may just go too slow for actual enjoyment. The E300 was pleasantly surprising in that it does not go too slow or too fast. It can go upto approximately 20 mph which should be more than enough for any young person not yet old enough to drive.

Another pro we like about it is that the E300 does not require the step and push like you do with a skate board to get going. The E100's you do, and they're much slower than the E300. Yet, consider the age differences of kids using them and perhaps slower may be just right for a younger child.

It does come with some charge to it, but be sure to follow manufacturer's recommendation of charging it the first time for 18 hours prior to use. We have no complaints as of yet on the range of time it runs for. My child has been getting an adequate amount of run time since she's gotten it and never less than 40 minutes.

However, I would have to agree on the time it takes to recharge. I think perhaps, if Razor made it a portable rechargeable battery, perhaps we would consider investing in a back up battery to have continuous use of the scooter while the other battery would recharge.

Other than that? I find this scooter to be fun and available at a good price.

By the way, the customer service for Razor is very helpful. Please be rea

this motor scooter is a really great product. It says it goes 15 mph, but if you weigh less than about 75 pounds, it goes like 20 mph. I usually just charge my motor scooter overnight and then unplug it in the morning and start riding it. This motor scooter can go for a reeeeeally long time, which is great, because I usually ride it EVERYWHERE. It has great brakes, which is really good, because I live on a big hill, and if you are wondering if it can go uphill, it can go reeeeeeeally fast uphill for me, but I'm only 50 pounds. It can go uphill if you're about 80 pounds or lower. At first, my mom wasn't. Too sure of the idea of me getting an electric scooter, but I was paying for it with my own money, so I guess she couldn't really say no. But, as soon as I got it, my mom has actually been loving it! She loves it because she is always needing eggs, or milk, or something like that, and when she needs One of those things, she can just give me money and say, "go get me some eggs from 7-eleven on your motor scooter". And then I am back within fifteen minutes, no joke. And the 7-eleven is exactly a mile from our house! And also, riding to 7-eleven is also fun for me! First of all, it's just really fun riding the motor scooter, and second of all, sometimes my mom let's me get a candy bar or something with the leftover money. Oh, and one more thing, it says the motor scooter can go up to 8 miles per charge, (it charges for 12 hours) but for me, it can go like 10-12 miles per charge! Anyway, if you are thinking about getting this product, but you're not sure if you want to get it or not, you DEFINITELY should get it. I recommend this product to everyone!

Out of the box needed air in tires and chain adjustment. After that was ready to go, I use it for going back and forth to work and its great. The office gets a kick out of it and I find its faster than driving due to traffic lights. Speed is fast enough for me and I would imagine its great for kids also. Haven't had any serious issues and its been about 2 wks. Battery time isn't huge for me as I said my ride is only about 3mins so for me it works.

My son's now 10. We bought an e300 when he was 7.5. The original batteries rbegan to hold just about 1/8 of a mile for him after about 6 months. I bought some off the internet that had decent reviews and a higher capacity. They lasted just under a year.

I'd like it if the throttle was more than just on/off as well.

Nothing's fallen apart.
