Works great! Had it for 2 months and our 11 year-old son uses it at least 3 times per week. His friends love it too! It lasts for at least an hour on a charge and can easily go 5-10 miles on flat ground before it needs to be recharged. Follow the instructions and always fully charge it after every use.

Update: Now we've had this for 18 months and it gets very heavy use. It still works great and holds a charge.

Second update: We have now had it for over 2 years and the battery is pretty much dead. It still runs but very slowly.

I bought this scooter to commute to and from work. The battery life while not as long as it was reported to be, was sufficient for a mile and a half ride through city streets. The only other drawback is that there is no suspension system. I used this scooter twice daily for about six months without any problems, eventually the batteries began to take less of a charge and after finding out what a replacement set would cost I decided to upgrade to a different scooter. If Razor ever makes a 36V version with front fork and rear suspension I would buy it. I did have a motor issue but razor has a great customer service dept. and the issue was solved very quickly at no cost.

Out of the box needed air in tires and chain adjustment. After that was ready to go, I use it for going back and forth to work and its great. The office gets a kick out of it and I find its faster than driving due to traffic lights. Speed is fast enough for me and I would imagine its great for kids also. Haven't had any serious issues and its been about 2 wks. Battery time isn't huge for me as I said my ride is only about 3mins so for me it works.
