This was the favorite gift if my sons 5 year old party. It was worth every penny, as every kid at the party road and played with it for hours. He is average height and had no trouble reaching the peddles.

If you are looking for toys that will appeal to kids for numerous years, this toy meets that requirement. Both my 4 year old and 7 year old sons love this toy. In addition, it is already on the Christmas lists of our neighbor's 10 year old son and 5 year old daughter. The seat is not adjustable, but it is easy to put soft items, such as a towel, on the back of the seat to help younger children reach the pedals. I put it together in about 15-20 minutes with no issues.

My 6 year old son loves it! I've even taken a spin on it and must admit that it is a hoot to spin!

I got this for my 9 yr old who has trouble still riding a bike... Just lack of strength basically, he is super skinny lol... Figured this would be easier for him to pedal and he could do tricks... It def does the tricks, so much so that it is really hard for him to just ride straight.. It is constantly wanting to do a 360 every few feet.. Takes a lot of coordination to constantly correct the front to keep the rear from coming around and spinning out... After a few passes he got a little better, but it def works them out haha.. He did have fun going downhill, but you have to be careful because with some speed this thing will stop on a dime and spin in a 360 and almost toss the kid off lol.. wear a helmet, even though it is low to the ground because it goes! He does like it and I think he just needs some practice, but I would not suggest this for anyone younger than 5 or 6...even if they can reach... My 3 yr old can barely reach the pedals and likes to hop on and use his feet to go and spin it around... but I wouldn't let him go anywhere on it other than in the house... Great for big kids that is for sure..

What can I say, our two boys - 6 and 8 - love these things. If they had one for adults I'd probably get one.

I am not going to go into a long drawn out review.. will keep this brief.. I bought one of these last year and the grandkids totally love it and totally fight over it.. so last week I bought a second one.. that is how great they are. I now have two of them and the kids are having a blast with them. The first one I put together myself (65 years old woman) took maybe a hour.. only had one issue with a bolt but that resolved itself. The new one.. my son put together and it took less than 15 minutes for him to assemble it.

If your not familiar with the Riprider..there are videos at youtube showing it in action.. it is wild and fun.. and swirls the kids around in a circle. The youngest ages of my grandchildren are two 5 year olds and one 7 year old.. .. one of the grandchildren has his own at his own home. The first one has had many miles put on it..a and though the tires show some wear... it still performs like a new one. So far no injuries or even scraped toes... but I do insist they wear shoes while riding as I had noticed they tended to want to put their feet down as they would come to stop..

In my opinion it is a entertainment for children, gets them outside playing and away from computers , cartoons and being inside.
