The "Special Edition" handlebar is not height-adjustable. Unless your kid is, what, who knows exactly how tall, this Razor is one to avoid. Proper handlebar height is essential to a safe and comfortable ride. My son is too short for this, and my daughter is too tall. The handlebars are fixed. There is no indication on the box that there's no height adjustment. Its going back. A birthday disappointment.

I've ordered 2 of these scooters for my boys through Amazon and was shock to find the handle bar is not height adjustable! All your other push scooters were made with adjustable handle bar - why not this model? I felt deceived as this fact is not stated anywhere in the description - even the manual included show all scooters with adjustable handle bar. It's ridiculous to have to pay shipping to send them back, so we're stuck with them being Christmas is nearing and kids are looking forward to them. Though I really want to get rid of them because every time I look at them I'll always think I felt cheated by Razor!

We love the Razor scooter and it glides beautifully, but a nonadjustable scooter is a waste. I wish I would of bought another even if it cost more. We are disappointed, but daughter already opended for christmas so it is too late to return.

Very disappointing to find the handlebar height is not adjustable. I would have never bought this had I known. One of the few products from Amazon that I have not been pleased with.

It appears that the "special edition" is a cheaper version of the original.

Just like the other reviewers - I am extremely disappointed that this "special edition" scooter from Razor is not height adjustable! It's special alright - but not in a good way.... Spend the extra 7 bucks and get the regular scooter. I don't even know why they made this model. A Waste of customer time and money!

What a surprise it was when my boys opened the box only to find that the handle is not adjustable like their old ones (which they love and have ridden so much they needed new ones). The box has a picture of the apparatus that allows it to be adjusted for taller riders but when we opened the box the scooter is just one solid piece for the handle. It is not a big deal for us since our guys are only 4 and 6...they aren't to tall but for any one bigger I would suggest making sure the one you are getting is adjustable.

We love the razor scooters and these will be just great, but I wish it would have been more clear that the handle is not adjustable.

yes - ! - the handle isn't adjustable - height is at a max of the old one - ! where I kept it for my kid anyway :) safer and more control! otherwise a great scooter! good luck!

I got this for my son's 5th birthday almost a year ago and it's still in great contidition (that's saying a lot because he is very hard on it, lol)

I purchased 4 of these scooters for my kids upcoming birthdays. We have had razors in the past and these scooters met the great quality I was expecting. We got them at an awesome price.
Buyer be warned, the height does not adjust. It isn't a problem for us, because are kids are fine without them being adjustable.
*we have only been using it for a few days.

No complaints about the size or quality here - this gift was a hit. It unfolds easily and glides smoothly, the height seems just right to me.
