4.0 out of 5 stars Quite possibly the coolest thing
Before becoming a SAHM I worked in a corporate job. This last corporate job had a fairly lax atmosphere and Razor scooters became the way to get around the office. I got tired of leaning mine against my desk (no offices here folks.) So I bought the stand. It worked great. We just had to adhere some velcro to the bottom to keep it from sliding across the carpet floor. No...

3.0 out of 5 stars Almost perfect., September 21, 2008

Very excited to see this product. It works perfectly well with the standard style scooters. However, in my house of six kids, we have four scooters and two of them are equipped with a shock absorber on the front wheel (a much safer ride for those hot wheeling boys) and a more slender bracket where the wheel attaches to the scooter. This means that if you want to use this product to mount on a wall and get the scooters up off the floor you will be disappointed. The rak holds the scooter but not securely like the other two scooters we have. It kind of balances against the rak and wall. A good bump and it will fall down. If I wanted to use this as a stand it was fine, but I wanted them off the garage floor.

A small solution that we will use. I have found that if I turn the scooters around with the scooter above the holder, the wheel will sit in the wheel well properly but it can't hold it against the wall. So we are going to mount a hook above it to keep the scooters against the wall. Almost perfect.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice Concept, But Could Be Better, June 12, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: RazrRak Scooter Stand (Misc.)
We have (3) scooters so the idea of having them not laying in the floor and organized was appealing. Unfortunately the product while novel doesn't seem to deliver as well as it could. First the wheels of my kids Razor scooters are larger than the cradle. This prevents the wheel from fully engaging and therefore allowing it to have excessive play, ie.. can fall with the slightest bump. Secondly the rubber bumpers which prevent the stand from sliding across the floor came off the first day and that was after properly cleaning the surface and adhering them with an adhesive promotor. The problem is that the point where you affix the self stick bumper has a hole in it, thus there is very little surface area for the tape to stick too. All in all this product is a novel concept that needs an adjustable cradle and more solid floor mount solution. I am returning mine and will probably just use utility hooks mounted on the wall like I do with so many other items in my garage.

We just had to adhere some velcro to the bottom to keep it from sliding across the carpet floor. No biggie. The scooter stayed upright and I was the envy of all my co-workers.

The Product description does not make clear that this does not work for razr scooters with larger wheels. This was supposed to be a cheap solution that now doesn't work and it's simply too expensive for me justify paying to ship it back.

1.0 out of 5 stars How do you get this to work, May 8, 2011
This review is from: RazrRak Scooter Stand (Misc.)
Could someone explain how to get the scooter into the stand when it is mounted on the wall? I can get the wheel in perpendicular to wall but cannot figure out how to get the rest of the scooter to move parallel to the wall. The hook doesn't seem to fit anywhere.

4.0 out of 5 stars works, but could be heavier for the price, July 15, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The stand works well, but I wish it were heavier. Using it in floor mode the rubber feet mostly keep it from sliding but a dog or cat walking by can knock it over. Still far better than leaning the scooter against the wall.

3.0 out of 5 stars It works, though it's unstable., April 26, 2010

It's cheap and it works, though the plastic stand slides all over our garage floor. I had to lean it up against a wall to get some leverage, however even then it's a moving target.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sorry Preston, September 14, 2007
By
Jeffrey Crump (Phoenix, AZ USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
As creator or the RazrRak Scooter Stand and the CEO of RazrRak Inc. it pains me to see Preston's review of our product. What I can tell you is that our product is made of the same material as Legos (read safe and durable); they function both on the ground and wall-mounted; can withstand a 200 lb. man standing on them; and finally, we have NEVER had a product returned.

If you're unhappy with any aspect of the product, then simply return it either directly to us (tell us where you bought it) or return it to the retailer you bought it from for a full refund. Our goal is not to upset our customers but to provide a good product at a fair price that solves a problem.

So, Preston, if you read this, please send the product back and we'll happily refund you your money.

3.0 out of 5 stars doesn't work for all scooters, August 31, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: RazrRak Scooter Stand (Misc.)
I ordered two of these. The first one worked fine with our old razor scooter. The second one does not fit the large wheel razor scooter that we have. It kind of holds the larger (diameter) wheel from the more recent model, but it will fall over if touched lightly. I already cut open the package, and there are no other options, so I guess I am sticking with it.
