Razzmatazz Orfeum,
By rugerdawg "rugerdawg" (San Diego, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Razzmatazz Orfeum (Audio CD)
While The Moog are still a relatively new band for many American listeners, this band which hails from Hungary produces some great new indie rock. Razzmatazz Orfeum is the second album from The Moog and I think it is even better than their first album, Sold For Tomorrow, which marked the band's introduction outside of Budapest, Hungary. All of the songs from Razzmatazz are good, but the stand-out is "Panic". For those fans of the new show "Shameless" which features William H. Macy, they will recognize "Panic" from the hilarious tutoring scene ("Science turns me on").
The Moog are an awesome indie band which invokes thoughts of U2, Bauhaus, David Bowie to name but a few. Well worth a listen! |
