This CD is a tremendous compilation of Rick Springfield. I have always loved his rockers, and this collection does not dissappoint.

The remastering is tops, "Alyson" and "Written in Rock" have never sounded better. It seems that early Springfield is very hard to come by on CD, and may I also recommend "Anthology." Together with this release, you have two really DIFFERENT CDs -- both documenting the best of Springfield.

Rick rocks - a must cd if you're a fan; a great cd to just enjoy music of a real performer. Rick is not just the 80's hero - he's the 21st century hunk and you'll sing along to this cd, song after song - some of the songs have more "meaning" today than they did then - the beat is the best - you'll sing, dance and smile. Buy it.

There's about a half dozen Rick Springfield compilation CD's out there and they all have pretty much all the same songs on all of them but not this new release, At last something differen't! all the songs have been remastered and sound great, the artwork and inserts look great. So even though a fan of Rick might have all these songs already it's still a great CD to add to the collection.

Great collection of songs. Omissions: "Inside Sylvia" and "Honeymoon in Beruit" would've been a great additions to this set. "Free" is one of his best ballads but not in RCA catalog so no surprise that it is excluded. "Written In Rock" "Allyson" and "Still Crazy For You" should have been singles and shine on this collection. Great variety and a new mix for Rick fans! A must have!!
