I only knew one Oslin song before buying this CD..."I'll Always Come Back", a haunting melody with great lyrics...be sure to listen to the sample. Then I discovered that this lady writes most of the songs and sings them well to boot. Other favorites on this CD are "You call Everybody Darlin'" (anyone old enought to remember that in the '50s?) and "Pathway of Teardrops", Do Ya? and more. Very listenable!

this is the best CD that i own. it is remarkable. she is @ her best.

I just recently discovered KT and decided to get her best hits. I was not disappointed. She has a real flair for a basic country sound and a talent for lyrics

Great Country Music
Country Music needs to go back to its roots, and start playing artist that sing and play real country music.
What you call county today is pop.

We've always loved her music, but this is truly an outstanding collection of her songs.

K. T. Oslin has music that transforms you from the dull and routine life into a fantasy land that her music easily delivers you to time and time again............I love her music. Wish she would start singing again..... sorry to hear about her illness.

Back in the day, I used to hang out at a gay country and western bar in Washington, DC. I watched the Grammy Awards the year KT Oslin sang 80s Ladies, and ran out to buy the album to bring back to the bar. We all fell in love with her, not only because of her songwriting and singing, but because she was sassy. But the songwriting is truly remarkable. Nearly every song she wrote is terrific, and she's a great story teller (listen to the lyrics when you listen to hear songs). She is truly missed on the recording scene. I saw her at Wolf Trap in concert just before she released "This Woman", and it was great concert. She had heart problems which occurred in conjunction with the change in C&W radio from country to country/pop, like Shania. She should write a Broadway show (and by the way, one of her first jobs was singing on B'Way in Hello, Dolly in the 60s!).

I bought this as a gift. The person I bought this for loved it. It had all of K.T.'s Great songs on it.
