This review is from: Re: Made 1 (Audio CD)
Okay, let me say off the bat that I am not a fan of those compilation CDs that are NOT sung by the original artists, particularly those by ONE group like (made up name here) Countdown Singers International. They are cheesy and just exploit the market and take away from sales of the original artists. That being said, I'll suggest that this is a GREAT album. Not perfect but it's definately worth the purchase. The voices sound so much like the original artists (except for one or two) that I almost wanted to bet that they were bootleg remixes of the original artists (which they are not). They are all segued together non-stop (which I am not a fan of either). All are roughly radio edits regarding the running times, but not noticebly so. Most are full vocals (one or two are mere "dubs" it sounds like). Only a couple through away tracks (especially the last one). It stayed in my car CD player for almost a month. Now I wish they would hurry and release a 2nd volume. Nice!
