a intressting look at american culture since the beatles,
By
This review is from: Re-Making Love: The Feminization Of Sex (Paperback)
the author looks at the influenses that have changed the way american women look at there sexuality since the 50's to resent years. it starts with the beatles (the british band that stoped performing for fear of being torn apart by lust craved adalesent girls) I'm sorry I can't remeber much more than that. but it was used as a text book in my "eros and pollitics" college class. Taught by Richard Bank. it is a very good book for provocing discusion. I recomend other teachers use it in their discusion classes about american culture, sex and feminism.
the auther explanes that while the mens sex revolution has been well documented, the womens sexual revolution is more sutal( excuse spelling ) and is still going on. |
