This review is from: Re-reading Cultural Geography (Paperback)
This book is a good collection of articles relevant to cultural geography. Don't be fooled into thinking that it is light reading, however... it takes a lot of time, effort, and concentration to fully grasp all the content in each article. The book collectively provides a very good introduction to American cultural geography.
As the editors make note right in the beginning, the book is intentionally more American, British, and Canadian in focus than other cultural geography books, which tend to use examples from all over the world. Excellent book for cultural historians.

I originally was required to read this book for an introductory course in cultural geography. It was an excellent collection of works by various authors. It really opened my eyes to the world of cultural geography. As a testament to how much I enjoyed the class I'm keep the book.
