Well, I'm not sure if they're *all* hits, but they ought to be. I bought this CD on my last trip to France and was amazed as usual by Catherine Ringer's vocal range and style. Some tracks, like Andy (my favorite) are live, some are studio cuts, but they're all 100% pure Rita! Even if you don't understand French, the sheer craziness of Rita Mitsouko will get you up and dancing! Buy it now, you won't be sorry!

I'm pretty sure that I met these two crazy hipcats dans le Gers (a.k.a. Gascony). They are obviously Huguenots (that's French for "astronaut," I think at any rate? And of course I rate this a Five on the Moh's Scale of Hardness. Inventive, playful, dadaist. More fun even than "Le Poupe Psychedelique" (The Psychedelic Doll).

Anyway, nothing beats the remix of "Hip Kit" (FULLER'S THEME SONG) and "C'est Comme Ca" (HAUSING'S THEME SONG), one of the best French-Canuck-inspired "witchcraft" songs I've ever heard. The inscrutable lyrics are not what you think: "Ha Ha, le fuque au joue!" (Ha Ha, the seals at play!)

Anyway, if we want to send a satellite off into deep space, this CD should be spinning on the turntable, oh, I don't know until the end of time--or at least until it reaches Alpha Centauri.
