5.0 out of 5 stars Re Uses is a Gem!
I have owned this book for quite some time. As a matter of fact at one time it disappeared and I panicked. I panicked even more when I couldn't find it at Amazon. 3.0 out of 5 stars Dated and weird at times, but some good ideas.
This is a handy reference book on all the ways you can reuse stuff you'd normally throw away -- from beer cans to pantyhose! Some of the ideas are a bit weird (making a mini funnel from an eggshell!), but many are actually quite creative and interesting. It's an older book (1980) so it seems a bit outdated at times, but the basic info is timeless.

I have owned this book for quite some time. As a matter of fact at one time it disappeared and I panicked. I panicked even more when I couldn't find it at Amazon. Thank God a few have finally appeared. This book has found thousands of practical uses for garbage that we would normally throw away. The startling fact of what is in our garbage and the bleakness of our future if we don't intervene in our planets behalf are also shared. And I'm sure by now that it has grown increasingly worse. Want to build a house out of cans? Or bottles? After reading this book you'll find a lot of uses for all kinds of trash. Get this book. It's worth it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Reuses, July 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

I had read this book at someone else's home, and felt that there were sufficient things I would want to remember to buy the book.
I'm very pleased with my purchase from this seller. They were responsive to my questions about condition, and the condition of the book is everything that I expected!
The only reason I didn't give this transaction 5 stars is the content of the book itself. Although it has a lot of helpful suggestions, some of them are a bit "off the wall".
