Editorial Reviews

From the producers of the best selling Top Hit Dance Vol.1, Re:vive Trance 01 is a mixed compilation geared toward those trance music fans that want the songs they recognize on the dance floors but rarely see on the CD racks.

Floorfilling, thriller remixes by Ferry Corsten and Les Hemstock are included contributing power and quality to this compilation. As well as exclusive original material by Black Hole’s rising star producer Cor Fijneman.

Re:vive Trance 01 contains melodic, uplifting, and vocal trance hits from world renown trance hit makers such as Anthony Cartier’s "Feels like", Sun Decade’s "I’m Alone", Mike Koglin’s "Time", Masters & Nickson feat. Jusine Suissa’s "Out There".

Unintimidating but educated, this compilation is for everyone to enjoy. Destined to be a summer must-have for all road trips and house parties, Re:vive Trance 01 takes the guess work out of what’s needed to get the party going.

Great mix with newer songs. Uplifting trance vocals, good song selection combine to make a good CD for any collector of trance music.

5.0 out of 5 stars High energy creative mix, January 13, 2006
This review is from: Re: Vive Trance (Audio CD)
This is an excellent collection of high-energy, danceable, electronic music with good melodies and light female vocals. It's not overly repetitive, and there are very few "atmospheric" slow parts. I love listening to this CD while working out.

5.0 out of 5 stars this album MOVES me, January 11, 2009
This review is from: Re: Vive Trance (Audio CD)
This album moves me. I've have contributed only one book review, two years ago. This is my first music review, so you know this album moves me. I had hoped to buy another copy for a friend, only to find it listed as discontinued, darn, but as long as I am here, I might as well share my praise for it. So do search for it used. Tracks 6, 7, 8, and 9 are so good that I play them again and again and again, and three years later still have not tired of them. The music I love most are Beethoven, Bach, and all the other dead white German and Austrian males, so be assured my standards are high. The fact that most of the composers on this album are German and neighboring Dutch may contribute to their quality, but the lyrics are all in more universally understood English. And don't be dissuaded by the trashy cover photo of a sultry woman, which may have doomed this album to commercial failure.
