Just amazing stuff. The scent is super manly, and the bar has actual pepper rounds for exfoliation. Great idea, and my favorite bad to use, hands down. All I use, period.

I bought the body wash and this bodyscrub bar in 2011. Somehow i dont felt the same way as the previous two reviewer did; maybe molton brown improves the products!
1. neither body wash nor bodyscrub smells. they are really nice and the fragrance is just let you relax and not intensive to suffocate you. the fragrance is not like the intensive as you can see/smell on women's products (such as bath and body or victoria's secret). so i really recommend these to men. but this also goes very well to women, my mom loves the bodywash. i like the scrub, it actually has pepper grains in it; but some people may think the grain is too harsh for the skin, but for me, i really like it.

2. I actually found the bodyscrub bar has more peppery fragrance than the bodywash, so if you are worried that bodyscrub bar doesn't give you enough fragrance than bodywash, you dont need to worry anymore. personally, i would really recommend the bodyscrub to guys, very nice! dont know if women will feel the peppery grains are too harsh/rough for their skin

I bought this soap after using a hotel-provided Molton Brown Black Pepper Body Wash which has a wonderfully strong black pepper fragrance. Rather than a black pepper fragrance, this bar smells like regular soap though it lathers very nicely. If one desires the peppery fragrance, buy the body wash.

I just discovered the Molton Brown Black Pepper collection, this stuff is made from peppercorn oils. The reason I was looking was to solve a mystery. This past week at work I've heard several of the guys complaining in disgust about how bad one of our co-workers smells. And sure enough he came over to talk to me and I wanted to vomit. He smelled like 185 pounds of black pepper, I could only imagine he had eaten a PepperCorn encrusted steak the night before and it was all coming out of his pores. It's so totally overwhelming that I avoided him like the plague the rest of the day. I work in an aircraft factory with lots of fans to blow air around on people, but within 6 feet of this guy it's all about peppercorns. Then I went down to see my wife where she is putting on a summer camp for Civil Air Patrol Cadets.....she had my pickup and I needed it. But when I got in....."Oh God NO".....there was that same smell. I don't know who she let ride in there but it better not happen again! Then I knew there must be a product out there causing this overwhelming stink. Leave it to the Brits......Molton Brown's Black Pepper collection, eu de Toilete, and Body Wash. Now that I know who the enemy is......I can educate the other guys at work to drop enough polite (or otherwise) hints and get this guy to stop using these products. Believe me......it isn't pleasant,it isn't masculine, it's awful. I may get a squirt gun and fill it with Old Spice just to expedite his education!
