About the Author

Steve Rother was comfortably settled into life as a General Building Contractor in the San Diego area. It was through an odd series of events and a spiritual awakening that placed him right in the middle of his contract. Steve and his wife Barbara began shifting their focus on life. Then on New Years eve 1995 found themselves on a beach as the sun rose, in ceremony expressing their intent for the coming year. "Without realizing what I said, I heard myself declaring to be a Lightworker. I don't know where that came from and I wasn't even sure what a Lightworker was. Looking back, I can say that that morning and those words began the shift that changed my world as I began moving into my contract."

Steve began receiving divinely inspired messages from 'the Group'. Never having written before this was a strange experience. At the urging of friends, he publishes these writings each month on the internet. These soon became the Beacons of Light Monthly Re-minders from Home. These monthly Internet messages started in 1996 distributed to a hand full of people and are now distributed to thousands in 112 countries. These are monthly writings with messages from "the Group" are about re-membering your own power and living comfortably in the higher vibrations now on planet Earth. The Group calls Steve the "Keeper of the Sword". This is the Sword of Truth used to help people re-member their power. This sword is being used today for personal empowerment so that we never have to use it as a weapon again. The Group speaks of life on Earth as a Grand Game of Hide and Seek. God hiding from himself, looking for herself. When we re-member who we are and our powers we can use those powers! to recreate home on this side of the veil, thus bringing Heaven to Earth.

Steve never returned to his contracting business and today he and Barbara, his partner and wife of 28 years, travel presenting seminars of empowerment, based on information from the Group. They have presented this information worldwide including three times at the United Nations in Vienna, Austria and once at the United Nations in New York. "Our purpose is to help people find their own powers and inner guidance so that they never need look outside for their answers again. When we Re-Member who we are then we can be about the task of Creating Heaven here on Earth one heart at a time. It is this act that will lead us into the higher vibrations and our next stage of evolution as spirits in human form."

I just love this book. I re-read parts of it every time I need some spiritual nurturing. It is organized into 18 chapters on a miriad of topics, such as: tools for walking with spirit, synchronicity, the flow of universal energy, remembering the other side of the veil, and most memorably, the evolution of humanity. Each chapter is subdivided into topics as well, which makes it easy to read in short bursts if you are inclined.

The information is channelled through the author during some fairly prestigious speaking engagements, some in front of the United Nations. The amount of love pouring through from the beings that are being channelled (The Group) is enormous, and the sincerity is obvious. The information is very up-to-date and was mostly new to me, not simply re-hashing of other spiritual authors' works.

I can sincerely say that you will not be disappointed with this book, and I say this after reading 50+ spiritual books, including the classics as well as metaphysical and new age/new thought.

Sometimes the day to day grind saps my energy making me a bit cynical and jaded about 'spiritual' matters. Reading spiritually oriented books always helps me maintain a more balanced perspective. For whatever reason, this book was just what the Dr. ordered for my latest bout with spiritual malaise. To be frank, I don't know what to think about 'channeling'. I believe Mr. Rother is sincere and presents a very positive and uplifting take on the current state of the world. He offers a refreshing perspective, and builds a strong case that in the midst of all the trouble and tragedy of modern times there is something of much greater significance going on. That all of humanity is playing it's role (quite admirably it seems) in bringing more light into the dense physical world.
We all like to think that our lives have some greater meaning and purpose and 'The Group' affirms that this is so. Through our lives, and on our planet, cosmic purposes are unfolding toward the dawning of a new day. It seems we are the cutting edge of evolution. As I neared the end of the book, I found myself feeling inspired, that life is indeed good, and worth all the trouble. It does no harm to believe that humanity's struggle toward greater understanding has repercussions far beyond what is apparent to us in our everyday lives. Is it true? I don't know. But I felt different having read it. I'm all for anything that brings a little more light into the world. Thanks Dan.

This book is right on target for lightworkers out there who are just awakening to their future roles on earth. Very uselful, and IMO LEGIT info!
Definately worth a read!
It also provides more insite on where the world is headed in the next decade. VERY up to date.
This book goes right to the top of my list of metaphysical books I recomment to friends. Other favorites - B. Weiss, N. Walsh, D. Virtue, J. Redfield, and A. Villoldo.
