Well, perhaps not EXACTLY, but that's what comes to mind when I think of the third season of Reboot. The first of Reboot was Saturday morning cartoon fare. Good, but but not incredible. The second season was DEEP, and contains my favorite episode of the entire series, ANDRAIA. But the third season is probably the most popular, and the four episodes on this DVD are probably the reason why.
The first episode, Icons, is one of my all-time favorite episodes of anything ever. In a plot inspired by the Seven Samurai and The Magnificent Seven, a now grown-up Andraia and Enzo Matrix must help some unlikely heros save a system which is in such bad condition that another lost game will undoubtedly cause it to crash. This epsisode features a cool atmosphere, great dialog, and a game inspired by Conan the Barbarian (but with the heroes of the system rebooting as scotish warriors, including Matrix rebooting as William Wallace). Anime fans will undoubtably notice the background motion effect used when Matrix fights is fighting a gargoyle (a total anime-style flying through the air moment).
The second episode is a Star Trek tribute that any Trekkie will love to death. Most of the episode is about Matrix and Andraia taking sides, working out their disagreements, and (oh yeah) finding and destroying a virus. Pretty great.
The third episode is a trip. In a LONG reference to the old show The Prisoner (which I unforetunately have not seen), Matrix and Andraia find themselves back in Mainframe (or is it Mainframe?), trying to find out who the Mysterious #1 is, and what the secret is that he is holding. This epsisode ends in Matrix realizing that he needs to renew his efforts to get back home to Mainframe, and never allow himself to give up.

While I'm a great fan of reboot, my second favorite show growing up (transformers was my first), this is outrageous, to charge this sort of price for four or five episodes, and they didn't even release season 1 or 2, I would gladly pay the price there asking if it was the full season, but this isn't worth it.

I've been waiting for these DVD's to come out for a long time. This cartoon is probably the best animation I've ever seen because it's computer-generated, making it very real. The plot of season 3 (part of which is on this DVD) is very well-thought out, and the characters are awesome (especially Bob and Mouse). I love the character development and the relationships that we see develop in season 3 too. The imagination put into the plot, the characters and this show in general, is pure genius. All three of these DVD's are going straight to my wish list!

Out of the four ReBoot DVD's, this is my least favorite, but that doesn't mean it was bad! This classic cartoon show, a milestone in computer graphics productions, continues to improve in the second DVD. The story is well developed and well written. Unlike the first two seasons of this show (these DVD's contain only the 3rd), the entire 3rd season is an arced plot.
If you are a geek, a CGI affictionado, or looking for a new source of entertainment, THIS IS IT.

best and first ever cgi animated show! There's comedy, there's drama, even romance. Don't think of this as just a kid's show, it's so much more than that
