ReFusing Fashion: Rei Kawakubo is an absolute must-have for any fan of Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons. Filled with tons of fantastic installation photos of the exhibition and thoughtful essays about Rei Kawakubo's remarkable designs, the catalog highlights Kawakubo's awe-inspiring life and career in a way that truly captures her constant process of renewal.

I'd be happy to give this five stars - for the text, at least. I've scoured around online for info and interviews on Rei and there is some funny, valuable, and insightful info in this book that I've not read anywhere else.
However, the picture and printing quality is terrible and cheap! I understand that printing can be expensive, but even as a student I would rather save up a little and pay more for quality. Most of the many photos are a smaller size and they are all (the smaller photos and large ones) rather grainy and difficult to see the details sometimes, which is very disappointing, especially for someone who didn't have the chance to see the exhibition in person.
I'm not saying to not get it if you have an extra 30 dollars around - I'm glad I have it - but just keep in mind it's basically newsprint/newspaper photo quality :[ Awful, awful, awful ! It's such a shameful thing since fashion is a visual medium.

I expected this book would be brand new, and the cover was full of dirt and I can't accept it.
