To bring the co-sleeper up to the height of the bed, these leg extensions are the best bet.
We place these on our Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper and it made it very unsteady and the instructions actually say not to use it in the bassinet position.
I agree that these extenders are an inferior product and an obvious attempt by the manufacturer to gouge additional money from consumers.
These adapters were needed to get our Arm's Reach Mini high enough to fit right next to our bed.
