5.0 out of 5 stars As easy as brushing
Finally a flosser that makes it as easy to floss as it is to brush your teeth. I received a free sample in the mail and tried it out. I was very surprised at how comfortable it is to use. I always have problems flossing between my molars (I had braces and they're a tight fit). This allows me to get to my back teeth with no problems. I also like how it can be stored right...

2.0 out of 5 stars work OK but made to soon fail!
Could the manufacturer make these flossers so they would last far longer? Of course they could. Why won't they? It's called profit. I use them for now, but when they are gone, I'm going back to purchasing regular floss at the 99 cent store. It's a far better deal economically. I have carpal tunnel and trying to hold tiny floss strings was not easy at all. I recieved this product as a sample from Amazon and loved it. It is much easier on my hands, and my teeth also as I have very sensitive gums. This tool lets me floss very gently but still thoroughly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dental Insurers should send these free to customers, May 12, 2006

For thirty years I've been beseeched by the dentist to floss to no avail. Which meant that every visit invloved the dental tech chiseling away plaque. My teeth are tight and regular flossing is a real PIA even for the techs. I got the manual Reach and night turned into day. I floss all the time now, several times a day. Its easy, effective and feels good. I was surprised at the mileage I get out of each refill. Its a little thing, but IMO this is one of the slickest innovations I can think of.

Great product! I now floss almost daily because of the ease of use of this flosser. It's a "must have" if you hate flossing with the traditional string floss.

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes Flossing Easy, August 17, 2005

The Reach flosser makes daily flossing so much easier without your having to deal with string floss breaking. I have never had one of the Reach flosser tips break. The flosser is powered by one AA battery, so the electric flossing is more efficient than manual, as brushing with an electric toothbrush is over a manual toothbrush. The electric applicance can move along the teeth and massage the gums much faster than manual action can. The floss-head refills are relatively inexpensive, costing less than $5.00 a month, which is about what you would pay for a month's worth of string floss.

If you are considering the Hummingbird flosser, don't! I tried it, and it practically pulled a crown out. The floss tips are too tight, and the tiny flosser is a nightmare to hold. The Reach flosser is about the size of an electric toothbrush, and very easy to hold. Moreover, the Hummingbird floss-head refills cost almost twice as much as the Reach refills.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm impressed, July 3, 2006

I don't have perfect teeth. I've got pockets around the back molars but I just couldn't maneuver the floss into thse areas effectively. I tried the plastic wedges and they help the outside pockets not the inside ones but I was still just barely breaking even with six month check-ups.
I have switched to the Reach flosser with snap-on heads and this thing is really great. I can easily reach all the pockets even behind the back molars. My most recent dentist visit was the first positive experience I have had at the dentist in some time. I'm never going to have perfect teeth but perhaps now I can expect to keep the ones I have for a very long time.

At last--a floss that's easy to use, convenient, and makes it so easy to floss everyday. I love it. I highly recommend it.

It's the small things in life that raid our bank accounts, until they add up over time to huge expenditures. They are convenient, but at 14 cents each, I can do without them. So can you! They only last about three days, using them one time a day. I can watch them fail and wonder what I'm doing buying them. And since they aren't available in bulk on line, I suspect the maker is behind that.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but Pricey, December 18, 2005
This review is from: Reach Daily Flosser, Refill Pack with Disposable Snap-On Heads 28 heads (Health and Beauty)
Every 6 mos. I go in for a cleaning, and everytime my hygienest lectures me to floss more often.

Last year, they gave me a plastic thing in the past, where you wrap floss onto it. I used it for a bit, but gave up because it was too wide and didn't fit in the back of my mouth. The floss would also come loose, no matter how many times I looped it around, or how tightly I pulled it.

After my last cleaning, about a month ago, they gave me one as a free sample. I finished up the refills and I love it. I need some refills now, and looking around, I haven't seen it at the Target or Walgreens that I happened to look. I've looked online, and dang the refills are pretty pricey. I think it's worth it though, so I'll be shelling out for some refills here soon...
