If you are an Iceberg Slim or Donald Goines fan you are going to enjoy this book. Nathan C. Heard wrote this book while serving time inside Trenton State Penitentiary in 1968. His writings were based on first hand events of his youth in Newark,NJ. He discusses the Ghetto; prostitution, drugs, theft, alcoholism and police corruption. He paints a raw and powerful story of ghetto life.
