5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best, hands down
I really like this product and have been using it for about a month. I have, and still use, the woven floss but this is much better. I used to use the floss picks but i didn't find them appreciably better than the woven floss...and in some cases I found them worse.

This product is very good. The floss goes in at the absolute right angle for every tooth. One problem...

I got a sample of the Reach Access flosser. So, I tried it because I was looking for an easier way to floss. I have tight contacts between my teeth, so it was hard to get the floss in and out. The piece of floss was also too taunt and inflexible, and I could not floss under the gumline with it. I needed it to "curve" it around my tooth more, so I tried to...

5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best, hands down, December 30, 2003

I really like this product and have been using it for about a month. I have, and still use, the woven floss but this is much better. I used to use the floss picks but i didn't find them appreciably better than the woven floss...and in some cases I found them worse.

This product is very good. The floss goes in at the absolute right angle for every tooth. One problem that I have had is that I still have my wisdom teeth and that makes it very hard to floss the back area. This is the first time I have really been able to floss that far back in my mouth...and I can actually do it without a mirror if I need to. With some individual flossers I have actually gotten it stuck between teeth and had to cut the floss string to get it out. I have never had this happen with the reach which I assume is the way its angled.

It is expensive though. The refills come in packs of 28 which really do not last me the month. And they cost about the same as this starter pack (which I have seen on sale for less)

For me, the cost is worth it. Its the best and easiest thing I have used. It allows me to floss around my wisdom teeth which I have never been able to do before. I can see, though, that for some people the cost would not be worth it..I think it depends on how successful you are with other types of floss.

I do wish they had a mint flavored floss and one where the floss is actually a bit thicker but perhaps they will come out with it in the future. Until than this is still the best

5.0 out of 5 stars Best flosser out there!!, December 1, 2004
This review is from: Reach Daily Flosser, Value Pack with Disposable Snap-On Heads 1 flosser 22 heads (Colors May Vary) (Health and Beauty)
As a person who never used to floss, except right before a dentist appointment, this product is perfect!

It's quick, easy, and affordable. I even bought one for my six year old little girl and she loves it! She actually likes to floss now!

I highly recommend this product!

TIP: Change out the heads every other day, not daily to get more bang for your buck, just be sure to rinse them!

2.0 out of 5 stars Floss too inflexible, May 19, 2004

I got a sample of the Reach Access flosser. So, I tried it because I was looking for an easier way to floss. I have tight contacts between my teeth, so it was hard to get the floss in and out. The piece of floss was also too taunt and inflexible, and I could not floss under the gumline with it. I needed it to "curve" it around my tooth more, so I tried to put more force on it to bend the floss into the proper shape, but this caused the floss to break. The handle is nice, and the size is good. My biggest complaint is that it was inflexible and felt like it was cutting my gums instead of being able to floss under them. This product may be good for other people, but I'm going to keep looking.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for those who hate flossing!, May 9, 2005

reasons i used to hate flossing:

1. it stinks: the floss with saliva starts to smell and gets all over your fingers.

2. it can hurt: the floss that wraps around the finger can hurt after a while.

3. hard to use: if you have big hands and/or a small mouth, it can be hard to reach your teeth using two of your fingers.

Reason the Access is great:
1. "point and shoot": all you have to do is point the floss head where you want and it will work.

2. easy to reach back teeth: the slim head/neck makes it easy to move around in your mouth.

3. relatively clean: no excess saliva everywhere.

4. it's easy: doesn't take too much thought or effort, i can easily watch TV while i do this.

5. feels good: after the first few days, the floss will feel pretty good and sort of massages the gums.

6. it runs on AA batteries (about one every 5 weeks or so)

i am so happy i bought this. i used to NEVER floss, and i always had the gums/teeth to show for it at each dental visit. I have used this device for a few months now and it's been quite easy to stick with.

5.0 out of 5 stars The best fosser ever!, April 3, 2010
This review is from: Reach Daily Flosser, Value Pack with Disposable Snap-On Heads 1 flosser 22 heads (Colors May Vary) (Health and Beauty)
I have used this product for many years now, it was first recommended to me by my dental hygienist and it is Brilliant. Gets to all those important places!! Much better than other varieties as the heads snap on and off easily but stay tight when fixed on.
Only problem is finding who sells them!

5.0 out of 5 stars I finally don't mind flossing, January 4, 2008
This review is from: Reach Daily Flosser, Value Pack with Disposable Snap-On Heads 1 flosser 22 heads (Colors May Vary) (Health and Beauty)
I just started working for a periodontist's office, where the hygenist there will clean my teeth for free. But, I never really flossed cause I hated it, so I felt ashamed of my mouth.

Then my dad got a sample of this flosser and I decided to try it. I love it. I used to cut my knuckles trying to jam my hands into my mouth to reach my back teeth, but now flossing is a breeze.

The only down side is the refills are really expensive. But, after being reminded of the costs of dental implants every day, and seeing the discomfort of periodontal disease, it seems like a small price to pay.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, but Pricey, December 18, 2005
This review is from: Reach Daily Flosser, Value Pack with Disposable Snap-On Heads 1 flosser 22 heads (Colors May Vary) (Health and Beauty)
Every 6 mos. I go in for a cleaning, and everytime my hygienest lectures me to floss more often.

Last year, they gave me a plastic thing in the past, where you wrap floss onto it. I used it for a bit, but gave up because it was too wide and didn't fit in the back of my mouth. The floss would also come loose, no matter how many times I looped it around, or how tightly I pulled it.

After my last cleaning, about a month ago, they gave me one as a free sample. I finished up the refills and I love it. I need some refills now, and looking around, I haven't seen it at the Target or Walgreens that I happened to look. I've looked online, and dang the refills are pretty pricey. I think it's worth it though, so I'll be shelling out for some refills here soon...

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but too expensive, August 22, 2004
This review is from: Reach Daily Flosser, Value Pack with Disposable Snap-On Heads 1 flosser 22 heads (Colors May Vary) (Health and Beauty)
It's a great product, but the refills are much too expensive. The flosser itself works much better than my human dental hygienist.
