This floss is the best available, when it's available. The woven texture is easy to grasp and control and provides more fibers to clean the space between teeth. It's generally not available in the drug stores or supermarkets in my area, so I finally resorted to buying from Amazon. Great, arrived quickly and was just what I was looking for.

So..."It's ONLY floss?" Not true at all!!!...this is such a superior product that I buy it in large lots in the fear that Johnson and Johnson might quit making it. I have NOT been able to find it in retail stores for many years and can only purchase it on-line...thankfully...

NOW...what is so great about this?? Unlike 'regular' floss, this product is NOT waxy but instead, is woven of several strands of thread. To me the difference in the "feel" of it as I floss is very different. I'd describe it as having some 'tooth' or 'grab' that really allows me to feel when I have each surface clean. The waxy styles do not give me that level of 'feedback' when I use them....which is NOT that often, as you may have guessed..!!

Johnson & Johnson has stopped making the mint only version because dentist's recommend the floride version. There are plenty of parts of the country (mine included) that don't have floride included in their water and even if they do this floss helps get it in between the teeth, an area prone to cavities.
