Use this toothbrush only if you know that you have resilient soft tissue. The "tongue cleaner" on the back of the brush acted like sandpaper on my soft tissue, leaving it so irritated that I was unable to speak or eat well for many days after using.

And it doesn't get anymore basic than this. I love these toothbrushes - I was actually looking for the regular Total Care toothbrushes but stumbled on these and decided to try them out since they were on special. Oh if I had only known I would have stocked up! Like most people I am sure, I have tried many different toothbrushes and simply did not like the feel of the bristles, handle, head, etc until my wife bought the Total Care toothbrushes. The bristles actually feel soft and don't agitate/prick my gums like some of the other "soft" toothbrushes I've used (including some twice as expensive). It's like finding shoes that fit perfectly.

I have not been able to find any Reach toothbrushes locally, so props to Amazon for having these.
