I"ve been teaching kindergarten and first grade for 30 years and these are all the things early childhood teachers teach their children about every day. My hats off to these teachers for writing a book about some of the most important lessons a child could ever learn.The teacher gets an A>

The simple eloquence of Stoutland's book puts into text some universal truths. Her rendition of life's lessons is extremely perceptive. The book is a wonderful gift book to share with special people on momentous occasions or for no reason at all! The illustrations are a thoughtful representation of each lesson. They just make you smile-inside and out! This book will be a classic.

My children ask me to read this book to them time and time again. I keep plenty on hand to give as baby gifts,too. Both the author and illustrator are married to coaches, and as a coach's wife myself, I appreciate their enthusiasm, talent and wisdom.
