As with other reviews of this product, the pen(s)do not come in the card packaging as shows in the photo, but rather as individual unpackaged pens. No big deal.
First impression: nice fine point, finer than another UV ink pen I have already.
First test: On white printer paper. Let dry. Under incandescent lighting indoors, invisible. However on inspection under natural overcast daylight, I see a faint yellow hint of the ink.
The other pen I have, another manufacture, also can have this issue of a faint hint under natural light on some surfaces.
Second test: run the piece of paper with the ink underwater to see if it's in fact permanent. After drying it our the ink does not run or fade. It's permanent as far as I'm concerned.
Third test: Marking a black painted metal surface. Faint hint under natural lighting.
Forth test: Marking a medium gray painted surface (house paint): Faint hint under natural lighting.
Fifth test: Marking on galvanized metal. Faint hint under natural lighting.
Sixth test: Marked on several different indoor surfaces, painted wall, clear coated wood and yellow plastic. It's invisible under indoor lighting.

On all surfaces the UV ink shows up with an inexpensive UV light.

Thought: Natural light (the sun) does have UV light in it and that could be why there is a faint hint.

Overall, not worst than the other pens I have, finer tip is a plus and it is permanent.

Our experience with this pen and vendor were similar. We bought the pen along with a UV flashlight 395 nM 51 UV Ultraviolet LED flashlight Blacklight 3 AA, 7202UV395 and the pen arrived in a padded envelope without any other materials. It works fine and, once dry, the ink isn't easily visible on most materials (sometimes on dark-colored items you can see a trace of it if you hold the item at an angle in bright sunlight, etc.) but it glows very strongly under UV light.

The "fun" part is marking items with pictures or words and then watching people's surprise when they see it show up under the UV light. Once at a Del Sol (color-changing T-shirts and other clothing, etc.) store, I asked the clerk for a gold $1 coin and then drew a smiley face on it. When I held it near one of the UV lights they use to demonstrate the product, the image glowed brightly as expected. You can mark on almost anything and the writing remains invisible until the UV light hits it. Of course, I've used it to write names, etc. on items for proof of ownership purposes, but it's fun to think of new ways to introduce people to the UV technology.

The UV pen works great, especially under a UV/Black light. The UV pen was delivered faster than I've expected, although only the UV pen itself was shipped, nothing else, not even the original package its suppose to come in like the photo. But it works fine and looks new.

Quick ship-arrived as expected-works as described. The birth certificate checked out well also. The Atlanta Judge could not get him to show in court....HA
