Best in a great series!,

My son received this as a gift on his 6th birthday and it ended up being one of his favorites. My kids and I love the whole series but Pinocchio is the most requested of all the DK Read & Listen series.
Robert Lindsay is brilliant as the narrator - and the sound effects and music are not annoying (they can be in children's stories) but this production is top notch. The story itself is classic and really lends itself to being heard as opposed to being read. The book is excellent also but my kids, ages 5 and 6, love the CD so much, they don't often bring me the book to read to them. |
