I orginally checked out this book at the public library for grade levels 3/4. I found myself using it so often for my course work that I incurred a lot of fines. I finally decided to purchase my own copy. Then I found out that the book is a series, so I ordered the entire series. Excellent book for use in the classroom across the curriculum and in all content areas. Great teacher, tutor, and specialist resource book for teaching reading strategies that are actually research based. The book contains a host of reproducible graphic organizers (maps) for helping to improve student's reading comprehension skills and their critical thinking. The maps are boldly printed and nicely designed. The print quality and quick reference guides makes this book easy to use and implement. The price for all the books was cheaper than all the fines I incurred. I should have ordered them sooner. Great price!
