This book is just as good , if not better, as Tiger Can't Sleep! My 2 1/2 year old grandson asks me to read these book on a daily basis. They are a must have in your child's home library.

Hatched colored-pencil drawings illustrate this picture book about a little boy who just wants to be left alone so he can read. Unfortunately, there is a tiger behind the couch, who chomps and growls and makes train noises -- all loud enough to bother a little boy trying to read. After many lectures from an annoyed little boy, and many apologies from a lively and irrepressible tiger, they discover a solution.A fun picture book that is great to read aloud. I wasn't a fan of the typewriter-style font, but the story was so fun that it totally won me over. Little ones will want to hear it again and again.

We love Tiger!,

My two boys (now six and four) love the Tiger books! I have been have been reading "Tiger Can't Sleep" since my eldest was only two. Four years later, we still love it. My boys love silly stories, and Tiger's antics are right up their alley. I like him too... I've read hundreds, if not thousands, of children's picture books over since my children were born, and Tiger is still one of my favorite characters. Every time I read one of his stories, I can't help but smile. Tiger is such an attention craving, mischief making, but cuddly friend to the little boy (who, like a parent, has to work to TRY to keep Tiger in line). My boys love the noises Tiger makes in "Tiger Can't Sleep," (i.e. potato chip crunching and kerthump, thump, thumping), but we just bought this book and the karate chopping and train choo-chooing are big hits too. And I'm glad that Tiger wants to listen to stories.

We received this book today and my kids loved it. The tiger is cute and reminds me of my own children with his innocent noise. I've already read the book multiple times so it gets five stars.

My son loved the book "Tiger can't sleep" so I purchased this as a surprise gift. He LOVED the story, the funny antics the tiger gets into is priceless and the repetition makes it a great read for all ages!

Rude,

While the illustrations were beyond charming, this book is full of rude dialogue. The last thing I want to do is teach my toddler that the way to handle anger is with yelling.
