This book was recommended from a customer in another embroidery book review page, so I followed her recommendation and purchased the book. After I received it, I was really amazed--it got exactly what I'm looking for! Not just pretty images, but step by step including use of tools, different kinds of needle/knitting work, frame, mounting...this book is a library of needlework!

This single volume contains techniques and patterns for a wide variety of needlework. The illustrations are very clear and easy to follow. I am happy to have added this book to my library of craft books.

I borrowed this book from a co-worker and had to return it. I liked it so much though that I was excited to find it online. I got a great price.

Good pictures, user-friendly instructions and all-around great guide to get you started and keep you going in just about any needle craft.

I found this book in a library, and after pawing through it, I came here to amazon.com and bought my own. I taught myself how to knit to help deal with the stress of being in college, and it was the greatest thing I've ever done for myself. This book has been more helpful and more clear than anything I have been able to find online. I love the patterns and designs that it includes.

and who knows, maybe in the future I'll teach myself to crochet or needlepoint or more. This book is amazing.

Excellent product for crafters - a wealth of information. Instructions are easy to understand and diagrams are clear. I've waited 3 years to get a copy for my sister. It was worth it.
