reader's theater rocks again!!
My kiddos loved this! If you are not familiar with reader's theater to increase reading fluency, student buy-in, and fun in your classroom... try it out.

okay, but needs more..
Although, I use these plays in my classroom and they have been "okay" for the purpose of building fluency and prosodic reading, I would like to have seen texts that attract the young readers more. The plays give plenty of information and try to do so in an interesting manner, however they just don't draw a young readers interest. And by trying to pack so many facts into...

Although, I use these plays in my classroom and they have been "okay" for the purpose of building fluency and prosodic reading, I would like to have seen texts that attract the young readers more. The plays give plenty of information and try to do so in an interesting manner, however they just don't draw a young readers interest. And by trying to pack so many facts into a few pages, the plays can sometimes seems dry. It takes a lot of finessing to get "by-in" by the students.
