Book Description

Reading Maniac is a handbook explaining how a child learns to read and why he may be having problems with the reading process. Included are simple ways to diagnose specific reading problems and lots of fun, easy games to strengthen the reading skills a child may be lacking. Solid, logical information for reluctant readers and kids just learning to read.

I used to present this information in a workshop and have collected some nice testimonials over the years. Here are some kind things people have said about Reading Maniac:

"Everything was very informative. All the game ideas sound interesting."

"To the point … organized … good ideas."

"All the information is easy to implement."

"Offered many varied ideas and approaches. Gives hope to parents."

"Great concrete examples. Your ideas were exactly what I needed."

"Lots of good real-life strategies."

If you know a pre-reader or a reluctant reader, you should buy this book now. The kids in your life will thank you!

More About the Author

Becky Clark was happily writing novels for teenagers when she realized her butt was slowly spreading across her chair in a very undignified manner. Stepping on the scale, she was not at all happy with that number mocking her. So she figured out how to lose that middle-aged spread without giving up her beloved chocolate, booze, or bacon ... or working too hard at it. She shares that info at http://www.LazyLowCalLifestyle.com

If you're lazy and don't like to diet you'll find kindred spirits there.

In addition to writing, she has spent time helping parents get their kids to love to read. She's adapted her workshop into an ebook full of games and ideas to turn your reluctant reader into a Reading Maniac. If you know anyone with a preschooler just learning to read or a child who doesn't like to read, check out "Reading Maniac" and see if you think it might help them.
