The best source for information on the learning disability of hyperlexia, the precocious ability to read coupled with language delay and poor social skills.

This book explains it - describes my son perfectly, down to the last detail. Great methods for identifying, reaching and teaching the child with hyperlexia. Good resource section in the back.

As a mom with a Hyperlexic child, I found this book a true assest to my life. It gave me insight to things that I didn't understand. And as my son is very young at this point, is showed me things that I am instore for. There are hints and tips for parents and teachers as well. Anyone dealing with Hyperlexia should have this book.
