About the Author
Garth Massey is Professor of Sociology and Director of International Studies at the University of Wyoming. Interested primarily in political economy and social change, he is currently working in the area of ethnic conflict. His interests in comparative sociology have allowed him to live and do research in Eastern Europe, East Africa, Australia, and the Middle East.

As a reader, Massey has a ton of variety in his selection of articles. Many of them kept my interest, which - as a college student - isn't that easy to keep. Interesting viewpoints in articles too.
