Horrible game with broken controls, March 31, 2009
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution (Video Game)
Where to begin. This sequel to the great Ready 2 Rumble on the Sega Dreamcast is an abomination. The controls are broken and don't recognize your swings and the characters that were added to this version are lame parodies of celebrities.
Avoid.

Worst Version Ever, April 16, 2009
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution (Video Game)
I have both original versions for the Sega Dreamcast, and I was really looking forward to this version. However it was an absolute disappointment. The game play and characters are very stiff, the controls are horrible (you initiate moves you don't want to do). The graphics are awful, the original two's graphics are far better and they were on a 128 bit system. Overall this game should have never been released and I for one would not recommend anyone buy this!!

Horrible controls, May 26, 2009

Turns out the boxing game from WII Sports is way better than Ready to Rumble:Revolution. The controls don't read your swings and jabs. Forget trying to train up your 'create a boxer' because your boxer will fail miserably. Do not buy this game!

Not Perfect, but a good workout, October 6, 2010

Once you learn how to do the motion controls, anyone can enjoy this game. No game has been able to pick up people freeform punching with the Wii, you have to adjust to the game. At a price of less than $10 it is worth it. R2R is the least frustrating boxing game I have played on the Wii. The problem I have run into is when your boxer gets near the end of his career - he is nearly unbeatable. Practice and learn and this game can be fun. I have gotten to the point that I can be working out on an elliptical and still win matches.

Possibly the worst game on the Wii., June 19, 2010
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Ready 2 Rumble: Revolution (Video Game)
Once again I thought I was getting a bargain picking this up for less than $10 in the 'bargain bin'. Once again, I was wrong. As all the other reviews have pointed out, the game is basically broken. The controls just do not work. In order to do most punches, you need to do various moves with the Wii controller. The problem is, they are impossible. Not 'hard impossible', but just impossible due to the fact the Wii controllers can not react accurately enough to perform them. I'm convinced that this game was never even tested before release. Save your money.
