I bought it to use for displaying my mineral collection. I also used it for my carnival glass collection. It has a nice consistency, it is easy to use, and easy to remove or repostion. I am very happy with it, the color is not obtrusive in the display case, and I have to make very few adjustments to items after initial placement.

I mounted over 80 minerals and several pieces of carnival glass with just 2 packages of putty.

It would be my first choice, and I am ordering more.

I love this product and have been using it for years. I have ordered it multiple times. I first bought it after my very energetic kittens raced across my dining room table and shattered a ceramic piece I held very dear. Now I anchor everything down with Museum Putty as soon as I get it. It has even worked on certain glass pieces for me. And my cats are free to race as they please!

I'm an artist and have a lazy susan with mugs of markers, colored pencils, scissors,etc. The putty holds the mugs in place,even when I spin it quickly! When I visited my Aunt in California I used it to hold all her treasures, from her travels in Europe, in place on the shelf. She was afraid to put them out, incase of an earthquake. I use it when I decorate for the holidays. There are alot of people around and it helps keep the manger scene from falling over if the table is bumped.
