5.0 out of 5 stars Are you ready?, June 15, 2011
This review is from: Ready for Bed!: A Tale of Cleaning Up, Tucking In, and Hardly Any Complaining (ParentSmart KidHappy) (Hardcover)
I had the opportunity to read all three books. I love, love these books. Every parent has had or has a child who isn't ready to go to bed, ready to play with others or ready for the day like going to school.

These books teach parents how to negotiate with their children when it is time for them to do any of the above. These are the type of books that would captivate any child helping them to express their feelings and how they talk. They will provide you with healthy, lasting solutions.

The author provided color coded dialogue in the books to help provide a positive parenting techniques like encouraging, co operation, validate feelings, offer choices and giving encouragement. These techniques are explained in details in the last couple of pages at the end of these books just for adults.

This is a must have series to make life easier for parents and their children. What a best way for a child to learn at an early age skills in resolving everyday struggles like getting ready for bed. If you are looking for ways to get through the day with your child I highly recommend you get the series. I promise you at the end of reading these books you will be stress free by putting the solutions to work for you and your child. A perfect gift for every parent!

This review is from: Ready for Bed!: A Tale of Cleaning Up, Tucking In, and Hardly Any Complaining (ParentSmart KidHappy) (Hardcover)
This is the BEST bedtime book! The illustrations hold a child's attention; and they can easily relate to the things that happen in the book and can be replayed in their minds when "it's time to get ready for bed". My 3 year old grandson loves to imitate the "what do you want to wash first" (body, hair) joke in the book and he thinks the answer is hilarious.

My 4 year old son and I both love this book! I like all the choices given in the story and I use the words "you choose" all the time now. I've really learned something from the book, but it's also very age appropriate for my son.

It's a win/win for sure!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Toddler Bedtime Book!, June 28, 2008
This review is from: Ready for Bed!: A Tale of Cleaning Up, Tucking In, and Hardly Any Complaining (ParentSmart KidHappy) (Hardcover)
My 2 1/2 year old daughter relates to - and enjoys - every page of this book. More than that, the book makes great suggestions for presenting toddlers with choices during the getting-ready-for-bed process that make it less of an ordeal. We recommend this book highly.
