I was fairly excited to recieve this fishing pole after I had order it. To say that I was disappointed by what I got was an understatement. It was extremely dirty but hey, it's a piece of sports eqipment, I can get past that. The reel and pole itself were very cheap looking. After I had finally, and with great difficulty, got the tackle box off of the pole, I noticed that the topmost ring for the fishing line was not on the pole. The tip of the pole had been broken off. I did not find the broken piece in the box leading me to believe that the item was shipped to me broken. I was less than happy and requested a refund.

I bought this fishing combo for both of my neices as an Easter gift as they love to fish at their family get away on weekends. They were delighted with the appearance of the fishing pole as it looked different from their brother and dad's gear. My brother loved it as well because it had everything the girls needed to fish and he didn't have to use his tackle to get them out fishing. I received a call from both girls this past weekend and heard all about thier "fish" stories. Both of them landed a few fish and were so happy! This is a great fishing pole for anyone who doesn't want to guess what to buy to get out and fish. I will be buying a few more for my other family members! So easy to use and a great product that made me a hero!

Do not let the cute tackle box, or cool pink color fool you about this pole. It is junk!!!! I purchased my first one and immediatly when i opened it, i could tell the drag wasnt right. The adjusment knob for it didnt move and it just kept dragging and dragging, even with the smallest brim!!! i returned it immediatly and got a new one. The new one came and the same thing. Its just the way the pole is made i guess. BUt it doesnt work. Unless you know someone who can fix this, get another pole!! A Zebco or a shakespeare pole are your best options and they also have pink!!
