WONDERFUL!! Full of fun, energetic, thought-provoking songs! They definitely have their focus in the right place - on JESUS! Thanks guys for another great album and for serving the Lord so faithfully. May God continue to bless your awesome ministry.

1.0 out of 5 stars This Album is Terrible!!!
I just heard this CD, with the song "Good to be Free" at a local Christian Bookstore, and the song has a number of lyrics in it which the early church declared as heresy. For example, "Things of this world are overdone Things like theology and philosophy - oh yeah." and "spent so long Living in a cell that I thought was home. I didn't know it wasn't meant for me" These...

FFH has made a mark in the Christian music scene with their focus on songs that explore the God/man relationship. They stick to that form here, with great results.

Their heart of love for God because of what He's done for us comes through in every song. They celebrate God saving us in "You Found Me" and "Good to be Free." Reminders that we can still sing in the middle of trials is the basis of "It's a Good Day" and "Never Gonna Be Alone." "Ready to Fly" and "Ready for a World" focus on a longing to leave this world of eternity with God. A personal favorite from this disc is the simple praise song "I'll Join the Rocks." Jeremy wrote and sings the love songs "Waltz for Jennifer," and the album ends with a pray of repentance with "Here I Am."

The lyrics are simple, and you won't be getting any new theological insights by listening to this disc. But that's not FFH's focus. The simple truths focused on here will encourage you and help you lift your eyes to praise God. That's a noble goal since it's great practice for eternity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!, June 13, 2003

I waited for what seemed like forever for the new FFH disc to come out, but was not sure what I was in for. The group said in interviews and on their site that this disc was different from all the others. So, keeping my mind open for a new sound, I listed to it, and loved every minute of it. Jeromy and Michael have written some amazing songs for this one, so many that I can't choose one favorite. I love "Follow Love", the waltz for Jennifer, "Here I am", "You Found Me" and every single one in between. Jeromy was able to help produce this disc, and all his work really helps make this disc more true to the group than even the previous ones were. If you like groups like Avalon or Point of Grace, you really need to get not only this disc but any of their others you have not heard yet. They are all really wonderful and worth the money to get them.

I regard FFH as the top contemporary Christian group, and this recording is an excellent example of their trademark tight harmonies, creative melodies, and inspired lyrics. The title cut and "I'll Join the Rocks" are my favorite tracks. Like most Christian artists, FFH truly sings from the heart. Their musicianship is polished and inventive. Anybody would find this CD very enjoyable.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Review of "Ready to Fly" by FFH, November 30, 2003
This review is from: Ready to Fly (Audio CD)
I absolutely loved the new FFH cd. From the second that I heard "You Found Me", I knew I had to buy this cd. I've owned it for awhile now, and I still love to listen to it. I have to say that "If Not for Christ" has to be my favorite song on this cd. It has beautiful lyrics that carry a lot of meaning and is set to beautiful, hymn-like music. I would reccommend this cd to anyone who loves Christian music that lifts up the name of Christ!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Album by an Awesome Band, July 13, 2005
This review is from: Ready to Fly (Audio CD)
I love this CD. It is very honoring to God, very pure, powerfull, and a whole lot of fun.

Ready to Fly is one of the best songs of the year, and that is just a bonus, because this album would have been awesome even without it.

Definately buy this, it will motivate you spiritually.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, positive music!, October 5, 2007
This review is from: Ready to Fly (Audio CD)
I am not a deeply "religious" person, but I have been a fan of FFH for a long time because of their positive messages. Great harmonies, catchy melodies, and positive messages make for great, uplifting music that makes your depressing days seem a lot better!
