Book Description

February 20, 2008
Ready to Heal is a poignant guide to identifying when a relationship is unhealthy, as well as why that relationship became attractive to begin with. It outlines addictive behavior patterns as well as the link between childhood relationships and later choices. When the early patterns are addressed, you can begin to heal. When relationships become a drug, love hurts. Perhaps you, like many others, are experiencing the pain of an addictive relationship--the kind of relationship that's painful to be in, yet impossible to leave. It may be your first such relationship, or you may have found yourself in a pattern that you just can't seem to break.

This review is from: Ready to Heal (Paperback)
The author does a fantastic job explaining love, relationship, romance, and sex addiction in women. This book helps the reader to understand what this addiction is about, where it came from, and what to do about it. Kelly McDaniel takes a complex issue like addiction and explains it in a way that's understandable and helpful.

I encourage my clients to read this book as another tool to help them on the road to healing and recovery. It helps them realize they are not alone in struggling with this addiction.
